Actually, you pinched that term from FBJ.
That link's not proof. It's not an official Sony website, nor does the Sony rep say anything to confirm what you said, so it's no more proof than wiki is.
OK, maybe hundreds of thousands of people bought Pulse, but never played it or had any interest in it at all. That's possible, but I don't think it's likely. That and the fact that there's also a PSP Greatest Hits range suggests to me that Platinum doesn't mean much for PSP. Come on - over 400000 Pulse players?
edit: in any case, this is a waste of time. My point was simply that the Pulse servers will eventually be shut down, as with all video games. When this happens, we'll have to use Xlink Kai, Adhoc Party, or something similar if we want to play Pulse online. It's not "foolish" or "baseless dribble". It's a fact.
