Well, I got a magnificent report for today. We tried to connect to the PSN. And you know what? You don't. So I'll tell you.

Alex and me managed to connect first, everything went smooth, after this "maintenance" notification. btw we're on 5.50GEN. Check out this scenario: KIGO and ACE-FLO, trying to connect, but they are NOT ABLE TO. Yes, they use 6.10. OFW 6.10!! AND THEY CANNOT CONNECT to the Playstation (R)(sh*t) Network!!!!!!

This is simply filling the cup to the limit. I can't believe that there's millions of people supporting such a false firmware. (I'm not dissing ofw crap just cause of this now!)
I'm actually really impressed of how really, actually, blind some people are here. Telling cfw is not right and all...What is right? Not being able to backup your own ****ing UMD? Not being able to play a homebrew game and actually maybe help a "little" dev? Not being able to do ANYTHING with your PSP? You know, Sony hates you, hates you as much as the PSP. But you still love Sony. I admire you. You should love the devs, who give you the game, that awesome work, not the ****ing monopolist. Take out the bait of your mouth and say F U C K you to the ****er!
And use some firmware that is good enough for you as a human, not that chickenshit ofw crap. Thank you.

Since the banning of Archman nothing has happened new with any new Wipeout Pulse meets. Is anyone going to organize any new TeamLink Division events, or is this officially the death of Wipeout Pulse and Wipeout on the PSP as we see.

It was good as it lasted i guess.

If there is still sufficient interest in this style of racing, the loss of one person is not going to kill it. Is it possible that interest has been reduced by the adverts?

There's no adverts in good ol' Pulse. It's still the same game I bought.
I think most people don't play Pulse simply because most people don't play Pulse ("baaaaaa"), an example being ACE's post above (no offence meant of course). It's a great shame because it's an awesome game, with far less to complain about than HD/Fury with all it's . But people would actually rather spend all day whinging about HD's problems than just play a game without most of these problems?
Oh well, each to their own...
I'll likely organise some more team racing at some point, but I doubt it'll be here unless there's suddenly more than zero interest in it - more likely on Arena or Gamefaqs.

no offence taken buddy, i know what you mean actually. And yes, Pulse will always rock, and if i could go online, i'd still rock it online..

Shame really, but hd fury is getting me addicted for the right reasons - always peeps to race online, low rate of noob quits, gazzillion br oppos, the ingame messaging, the many various game modes etc... i'm bragging aren't I?

Hehe. Not at all. I know HD has it's pros as well as cons, and also I know how much you like online racing!
For me though, Pulse always wins, simply because I find it much more fun to play, with far less frustrations. Not to mention that I like TT mode as much as online, so I don't get too down about the lack of online players. That said, triple_lei, FBJ and me had a long Phantom session last night, and will probably make it a regular thing on Sundays!

... FBJ and Triple_Lei? awesome pilots! Mate, if I'm to be honest, I'm gonna miss it a lot. I may have to return to the fold at some point! I love Pulse with a passion! And I'm missing our oldskool sessions, damn, I think I'm gonna cry... Seriously, I'll have to come back at some point - METROPIA FANS WANT THEIR AIRLICKER BACK.

Wipeout Pulse boom has come and gone. Late 2007 to Late 2008. Was an awesome game on it. Good memories from 2008 with it.
