I like this Cup, the first big event of WoZ online!

It seems that you have a lot of fun in the cup!
For sure, it is fun on the spectators' side -- the victories, the losses and the unexpected.

    Result:
    ENG 227 JPN 234
    MVP :reach-big7

Well played japan! Lag was everywhere, weapon pads werent working, but still some awesome racing! and first competative loss for ENG.

Hate to be a sore loser, but going from 2nd to last on SC Rev cos i fell THROUGH THE FLOOR! in the tunnel repeatidly just ruined me, respawns were doing the same. Man im fuming! but hey ho.

Still good game all!! going to fix my annoyance with copious amounts of alchohol

    edit:
just realised we could potentially now have a 3 way tie. what are we going to do then!! cant have total point tally cos ANZ have had 3 players mostly.

Good racing from the Japanese, ended up very close. I know that we had a few mess ups .

The 3 way tie is a bit strange if it does happen. I wouldn't underestimate the Scots just yet though .

!st tourny was great, 2nd ****ing awful.
Weapon pads where laggy as well as ship position being all over the place

Was great racing though all round, most enjoyable
    Great racing from Japan, congrats

Wow! What a close result. Were there some DNFs? There seem to be 2 points missing.

LOOL! Does the pause button do anything online? Or did everyone else just keep on going? Anything's worth a try eh?

All keeps going tho if you take a pic it goes back to where it was.

    Dammit OBH, you slacker.
Totally did not see that result comming. Congrats Japan!

Great, so ENG beat AUS, AUS beat JPN and JPN beat ENG.

Now look what you've gone and done.

I was waiting for the inevitable piss taking

Hate blaming a loss on a single race (well 2 really, moa rev we had top 3 places till rerealm in 4th got 2 quakes on the final lap), but sc rev was the worst falling from grace ever.

On the bright side, makes the tourny more tense than ever

Results of The Flying Dutchmen vs Dirty Frenchies

    TFD 251 vs. 213 FRA

    MVP - yeldar2097 & Luxoflux (equal scores)

    Thanks for playing everyone

    Large scoresheet:
    http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...g?t=1254086361

    Here's the small score sheet:

It looked like fate was going to play a big part today - with Mad-Ice out with suspected food poisoning, me in but with suspected swine flu (I just got a fever now ), Connavar AWOL with suspected alcohol poisonining, and Luxoflux possibly out early with suspected brain damage from too much studying . Nonetheless in the end fate and possibly luck was on the side of the Dutchmen. Well played to the French. Based on the first 2 races I was really thinking us Dutchies were going to get a spanking. The restart when G-Superpilot disconnected seemed to help us out, as Connavar showed up just in the nick of time to throw some weapons the way of the French. Man that was one crazy match.
