That's the exact method people use isn't it...? It's just they still need the barrel roll because they're lines are not fast enough...

yes but i'm guessing quite a few people think that it can't be done without the roll (as indeed i did when i beat zico for the first time). I just thought i'd give people some hope. hope is good methinks i'm showing anything new but as of yet i haven't seen a vid of anyone doing it without the 'zico' roll so i thought i might as well...

Exactly, showing what top pilots are able to do, don't necessarily helps casual gamers without lot of tutorials and details. Hellfire did a good job for that !
