It has always been a [I deduce it as a ] Semi promise that we at the zone will get "breaking news" rather than advanced news of FURY's release.

I don't know if the fact that we deem ourselves more important a group over any other,or that we are deemed "Just another forum to placidated with info" by SL or SCEE .

Either way,I doubt that this forum will be get the "Head's Up" so to speak before anybody else does.

I could be pleasantly surprised, but the realist in me says not.

On average we [zone forum] have had 3-4 days notice of a release.

I'm looking at it this way,

I'd rather wait a few more days/weeks so that we have a game that WORKS rather than have a game we all rush to get and end up clogging this forum up with bitching posts,or the "BUG REPORT' thread go haywire.

I am certain SL & SCEE are of the same mind regarding this.

Total ineptitude regarding QA if not.

I'm about to add some more speculation and rumour mongering into the mix (sorry Paul and Colin!) with the official Asian article on WipEout HD Fury. If you look at the top of the page it lists a 24th of July release.

Of course even being on the official Asian website it doesn't mean it's confirmed, but I thought I'd share it with you all anyway . It does still make me even more eager to get this game. I can't wait for a proper official announcement!

Probably good odds on that Reezy. Most add on packs have not received release dates, and if they do, it's like 2 or 3 days ahead of time.

Based on the trophies showing up, we should see the pack this week or next. I'd bet on this week myself, because the Killzone 2 trophies just popped up and that pack I bet will be showing up this week as well. It's a pretty well established pattern on the PSN. The trophies show up, and then the packs show up either that Thursday or the next.

umm pretty interesting but remenber asian market get these games ( see for example wo hd , there's even stated at the bottom of the page the date was released ) on later date respect to us, so i think the 24 july date if is correct mean that we'll get it around this week or next, i bet it

Oh god. You're kidding. I'm not even at 30 yet. It's not even really a rank, more how much you've played. A ladder System would be way better.

Level 100!? That's insane! I'm not level 50 yet, not many people are. The levels now really can distinguish the devout from the regular. Maybe with the inclusion of a stats page we can see more in depth stats which show how skilled a player is rather than how long they've played.

I think the new deatils on Fury from an official Sony site are real, but I'm still unsure on the release date. It would be nice if it came out before the end of the month.

I think in that extra week the VIN number gets removed and it gets resprayed a new colour then its available in the Russian Federation.
