I totally understand why people on this site would want to give this guy a second chance (nice people and all) but I am sticking to my opinion of Chiryu.
People can and do change all of the time, but it's what motivates that change that is important. Forgive me if I sound harsh but I seriously doubt that he was home one night thinking of all the insulting messages he inflicted on people, felt really bad about it and miraculously decided to change his ways.
If a rap on the knuckles from SCEE is what it takes to get someone to behave right, then there is something very wrong there.
It would pain me to associate with someone who does not have the sense or social skills to treat people with respect upon first meeting. None of us would put up with this in real life, why is it more acceptable online?
Chiryu is definately still Chirypoo to me
