I havent tried Pure online, only Pulse. The vets of the game keep telling me it is the better than Pulse online, gotta try it sometime soon. How does online Pure work anyhows? Can you use the expansion packs online too? Cause i might be interested to go online in the very near future. Listen to some Cold Storage and Oblivion too

Nice to see you active on the forum again Steven (or was it Stephen?)! I'm thinking Saturday evening (late evening for you) sometime - pretty much the old classic time frame (5pm EST/10 or 11 GMT) or Sunday...
I want to get a Pure/pulse session in with RJ soon before he leaves though to... hmm, maybe I can 'kill two birds with one stone' if we meet in a public place with free internets..

The problem here is I haven't found a good meeting spot near where I am, but maybe the Hampton Inn LITERALLY down the road will suffice. I actually walked around the lobby and I would gladly spend $90 for a night there.

Assuming you've got your PSP and your copy of WipEout Pure ready to go, you'll also need your pc to be connected to the internet via ethernet cable, a wifi card (or usb dongle) with promisc mode (such as the old wifimax) and you need the X-Link Kai tunnel software installed on your pc. There's a whole thread somewhere in the Pure section of the forum dedicated to help people go online with pure and X-Link Kai, but I can't find it right now and gave up searching the forums for now cause I have to wait 30 sec after every keyword search I did....
And you can always check out the teamxlink website borell gave here in this thread a page earlier (post number 1107) for more information on X-Link Kai...

oh okay... I've just realized that it wouldn't be good getting it until I got back from my deployment anyway... leaving in two weeks... so by the time I got it if I got it in time, I would hardly be able to figure out then use it... I'll just wait 4 and a half months... :/

I'll be online friday as I said from 9 pm GMT+1. I'll stay in the wipeout pure arena and will be happy for everyone joining me there. Since I don't have to get up early on saturday I'll be able to stay online for quite some time. The same is due for saturday and sunday, but on sunday I can't be online too long because I've got an early appointment on monday morning...
