I honestly don't understand why you guys have to be so aggravated and amplified about the whole issue... this shouldn't even be a question... Guys. Wipeout HD IS successful, but remember the only thing that brought it down?? Yeah, it was the release date. They continued to have to move it forward, cause... well, it's freakin' HD!!! It takes more time and effort to make a game with such great graphics and effects!! So much, that it's probably extremely difficult to know an exact date to be done by!

There's nothing like not knowing until it's done anyway... then it's even more of a rush by the time it arrives! But I can most likely assure you, it's Wipeout, it's HD, and it's on the PS3... and that's gonna last a LONG while... we are most likely going to be seeing DLC some time or another is what I'm guessing... you just gotta wait it out... just like the game itself...
