The off-center cockpit could result, depending on the nature of the machinery, in being either overly light on that side or overly heavy, but could be exactly counterbalanced in either case by placement of compensating masses, and/or variance of the anti-gravity generators density of placement or localised intensity of output power. The asymmetry of the frontal area would be irrelevant when there is no atmosphere.
