Do not underestimate the "tip" in the hands of a skilled pilot.
Asa cranked out a 1:52 or 1:53 on Outpost 7 White even after I slammed him as he lapped me.
This was while racing with a slew of great pilots online.

What is the difference if one does this or they hack the game to digitally always press down using CFW?
The way I feel is that if you want to do this online, you should have every right to, but keep it in a passwd protected game with you and others who have agreed to race in whichever way you decide.

I would not feel right racing with an advantage with such a great crowd.
If I won, I would feel like a scoundrel.
So, this puzzles me how one can do this.

Whatever, it doesn't matter what I say here there is always someone on top here to overrule everything.

Another thing...
Its very easy to spot this "tip" in a video.
A normal ship will bounce more and you will see the ship nose down here and there.
If you want to hit the top times you have to nose down on turns and off the GO, at least.
So... you can verify if someone is using it or not.
