Fact is, according to Colin Berry, wipEout HD is NOT in the hands of Sony's marketing yet, it is still being finished at SL. When it's finished, we will have word from Colin, and then it's in the hands of Sony when to release it. So (again, interpreting Colin's words) there is no chance of a release date being announced by Sony without us knowing that the game is finished.

How can that be? The game has already been submitted to be rated. It is my understanding that an unfinished game can not be rated? Am I wrong?

Sony did promise updates throughout the week, and a big store update on Thursday. . .

Yes, daily updates this week with new content for Super Stardust HD and Elefunk promised. Lets keep our fingers crossed for Wipeout!
