Have you ever tried these 100 year eggs ?

A Chinese delicacy ,usually mixed in with Conjee [rice porridge].
They are a acquired taste,as you can probably imagine
With the really top quality ones, the egg white should be the colour of a dark beer and have a rainbow like effect to the translucency when you cut them up.
The ones that kid is eating are chicken eggs,the original way of making these eggs is to preserve them in horses urine and then bury them for a few weeks.
