looks good imo but i would prefer a white or any other colour to be gloss.
i just hate matt colour. lol
no news if this will be released outside japan though.
i'm still hating Sony for not releasing the amazing limited edition white ps3 with lightning from ffxiii outside japan...
i'm tired of being treated like the last customer on earth...

hahahaha, lol. I remember that video now. Not sure where i saw it first though.

I bought Microsoft Office Project 2007 at academic price earlier on in the year. I think it was that option or the business option. I think student is the same as academic versions... i think. Not entirely sure myself.

Office 2010 was recently released. My school still uses 2003(really),which can lead to incompatability problems, since most of the students(I think) use 2007 or 2010(2003 saves in .doc,2007&2010 save in .docx).Same for the others.Am now waiting for my CS5 design premium and will try doing the"We Didn't Start the Flame War" WipEout rendition video....

Anyone of you used top-up cards before? I feel like spending 33S$ on Cherry Credits for an account upgrade on AdventureQuest. This is part of a dilemma of mine.
I'm gonna get killed by Rob and the moderators...

Whats new with the office 2010? Ive got a copy of 2007. Cant really see what they could put new in it, compared with 2003 vs 2007 just a bunch of additional poncy features thats about it. Oh yeah Word 2007 is a pain to open on anything made before that.

320GB PS3 in those images. In all honesty this new PS3 better have more RAM, Ive got an old school proper 60GB PS3 and its got a 500GB HDD in it, the XMB loads so loooooooooooooooong now since of the new HDD i put in it. PS3 struggles with it alot. Anything larger than 250GB you can noticed longer scrolling and loading times on the HOME XMB screen on the PS3.

I forgot until i went to my mates house the other day, that the original ps3 has slots for various different kinds of memory card!! How annoying! I could really use that....

Hmmm... I'm pretty sure the PS3 wasn't ever desingned to take 500GB HDD. Too much stress on the processor and RAM to work fast enough will only serve to burn the compound off the processor, making it YLOD.... That's what went wrong with yours Kieran, probably !

This new 350GB console they're releasing, may just be the limit of what the PS3 can process within a reasonable time. And yeah, they need to increase that damn RAM

I think it was just Kigo being punished for throwing his controllers too much when playing Blur

The PS3 feels their pain and wanted vengeance. After all, my 500GB is fine and dandy

Funny you mention the controller i damage on Blur a few weeks back Yeldar, i put it back together last monday, glued the sides in, still is the best working controller of the bunch. The old Sixaxis controllers are heaps more sensitive over the new DualShock3 controller, was using it to play WipeoutHD in the past few days before the YLOD.

Im being punished for using my PS3 for greater evil over the summer period, most of you folk prob know what i am talking about, karma does exist, this is a prime example.

I do know that Ace, thats why i havent opted to go over HDD size over 500GB, the PS3 RAM will just simply not take the added load. There are people out there with 640 and 750GB PS3s ive seen on other sites, even 1TB ones also!. So maybe the limit of the old PS3's is 160GB and the limit of the slims is 320GB before they start having issues. My PS3 has done me good since 2007 i appreciate it for its good times ive had with it.

The new slim model isnt 350gb Ace, its 320, just looked at the link on the other thread.

This is why my PS3 overheated. all the thermal connections on the PS3 have baked to ****! that is what Australian summer do best. Check out this photo:

Here is a photo of what the inside of my PS3 is like:

I dont know if you can see how royally stuffed the thermal connections are, it looks like building plaster tbh, only could use this 50kb size.

Talking 'bout "faulty" consoles and handhelds,I used to have an Xbox(the original one)that I played a lot when I got it and it slowly declined when I got the DS and the PSP(1000 model).Few years after I got the Xbox, when I powered up the console, the thing took ages to load,so much so it was practically unplayable! Since the "faulty" Xbox was now of no use to me,I took(some of)it apart.Got out the harddrive. That was basically what I did.

Why has the entire South East of England turned into an oven? It's so darn hot here, even at night. I want the winter back

I don't mind a bit of heat, but it's been like it for 3 weeks now. There's only so many times you can sit in the garden and go to the beach. Bring on the rain!

You can have your weather back I'm over it.
Must of got the wrong address, it's cold enough to freeze the nuts off a penguin in Sydney at night, and has been raining for 6 out of 8 weeks.

The worse thing is that they have just increased the price of electricity, again, this time by 30%, so if I put on the electric heater [it chews 3000 watts] I might as well be burning $20 notes.

Christ it's like being in Manchester , depressing, no wonder those little shits from Oasis were such miserable bastards.

****ed if im having the heat back. I hated every day of it, the flies, the heat, the flies, the heat, oh yeah, did i mention the flies?

You poms can keep it for a couple of years. Sleeping in this weather is heaps better than those sleepless nights in summer time.

Yeah it looks like Kigo's chip got a minimum allowance of thermal paste when it was built, especially around one area, surprised it hasn't failed from overheating way before this.
Easy enough to rectify, if that's all that's need though I doubt it, damage might of been done.
