Hey guys, despite the bad news today, we've still got a scene. Now I really have to give Kanar big respect because at times like this when Black Friday hit us with a low blow, Avalon seems to shine a ray of hope for the future (pending online games server being left on) of this format... as long as we show an interest, and attend online events such as avalon, and get actively involved the newly formed Xpand League for TEAM RACING, or just go online regular to race - someone out there with a large wad of wonga will see an opportunity to rekindle wipEout. And before we know it, we could have WipeOut HD Fury II ... yeah yeah, I'm an optimist, someone has to be!

OK, so to celebrate WipEout for its unifying force between an international community, today between midnight and 1am GMT I will host an avalon type event, in the form of a tourney (6 races then break) with weps on and off... I request that all who read this try and attend. Furthermore, if the room does by chance become full (hopefully), you can start your own room in the same format - that way, anyone who cant get in to my room, can see another in similiar format and join... remember, this is for us, to celebrate wipEout!

I believe one of the best thing we all can do to thank & support Studio Liverpool right now is to play online. Like we never did before. I'm a speed lapper from the start, I always prefered to play offline & work my lines, brs and so on. But today I think I must show to those Sony bastards how much I love this game, and the best way is to BURN their servers to death. So...

good to know you'll join us L&P, that's going to be freakin awesome with my two friends at home, with 2 ps3s plugged in online. Regarding the competition, TorquedSoul proposed me to calculate Elo scores for each racing result we could record, that's why I added "Elo recordings" near the names of the hosts who's going to record the results, in the first post. Oh btw, MrSmadSmartAlex confirmed the pulse session for saturday, feb. 20, 18h00 GMT. Hope you guys could join him for another amazing handled tournament!

lol Ace, no I meant heaven = sky, didn't realize I made a reference to religion there lol. Should have said heavens, and I just made an internet search, heaven doesn't refer to a religion in particular; so we can say it's wipeout's religion lol. But I like the idea of you as a Saracen eh eh. Like Morgan Freeman in Robin Hood lol. About the recording stuff, no worries mate if you can't, this elo recordings stuff is optional anyway.
