yeee-haw!! its about time someone done a remix of messij..... and I`m really surprised that it sounds good, too! All the attempts I make are either totally off-pitch or completley off tempo. Sure, you start at 170bpm, but try and intergrate that with a load of 140bpm layers without resorting to 5/4 (as if), or using any of those naf "timestretchers" which degrade the quality of the sample so much, youre just left with a noise which could be classified as distortion. And if you reverse that... (start with 140bpm and boost the samples to 170) youre left with tiny pauses and cuts inbetween theindividual loops, which does not sound nice at all.
Yeah, good work that man!
