    Temet: Funny you should mention Killer Instinct, only the other day I found a fantastic remake of it. Definitely took me back, I used to listen to the soundtrack CD that came with the game a lot

    A couple more from me:
    Super Mario Land - World 1 and 3 Overworld : This is a similar case to Sonic 2 for me in that it was the first game I ever played on the Game Boy. Got it on Christmas day at 5 years old.
    Megaman X - Central Highway and Spark Mandrill : Despite owning an NES I actually never got my hands on any of the Megaman games, so X was my first introduction to the series. Loved the soundtrack, but these two stood out.

    Indeed, that's a good remake. There's plenty of it on youtube, it was a great guitar riff.
    Super Mario Land music is also special, it's the first video game I had (excluded game and watches). I had an old TV without scart so I couldn't plug any console.
    The musics from Megaman X... ah ah, I loved this game!! For me, you had to get the "hadoken" to finish the game.

    @Temet: Ah, great! I didn´t have a gameboy at that time, but I´ve just seen a gameplay video of Balloon Kid on YT!
    Looks very hard indeed, but the level design is much more diversified and circumstantial than the NES version.
    I´ll never understand Nintendo and their bizarre products.

    Nothing to understand about it, really.

    @Flint : yep, I watched a video yesterday too.
    The guy is running the full game without losing 1 life, at without missing a single ballon!
    I remembered I was dying in level 7... I learned yesterday that there is only 8 levels Too bad!

    EDIT : I just searched for ballon fight, it's a different game!!!

    @mdhay: Question answered.

    @Temet: I know, but the balloon trip option in Balloon Fight is related to the gameplay in Balloon Kid, imo.

    I´ll remember Balloon Fight as a crappy game with a haunting melody.
