Help needed: A cd bug.

Hey there.

For unknown reasons Im unable to launch the game, everytime I press play
it ask for the CD even though it is in. It an original disc. I've been unable to find anyone one with similar problem. Im hoping that someone in here might know of a solution.

Im running with XP Pro and x64 edition, both with service pack 3.
I've tried running the game in compability mode, but to with no luck.
I tried using the xl network patch which makes me able to enter the game,
but no music is present and when I try to use the network lobby it ask for the cd when I press play.

Anyone? Thanks in advance.

I could buy a ps1 for you here for 10$, you have the game, shippingwould be about 5. Wouldn't that be easier OH, that is if you are in the US

Could it be that it's checking specifically for a disk in drive D and your drive has a different letter? That happened when I ripped MDK and tried to run it from a virtual drive.

The PC version really is the best. It's a shame that you can't play it.

Mine is set to GMT even though I am from & in North America (I simply prefer to use GMT whenever possible).
