How does this differ from Avalon league races?

Green races are ones where you can't use weapons; only shield, autopilot, and turbos. Everything else must be absorbed.

It lets people race with little worry about being destroyed, so they can go for every barrel roll. Different from weapons off races in that you can absorb pickups so you don't run out of energy.

I'd be up for this if I could find time for my ps3, but the SC2 beta is taking up all my gaming time atm

Yes, I think Green Races will be one of 'high roller' paradise
(but of course, all pilots must 'play the game' and resist to don't shoot lol)
