How did you capture the video from the PS3?

Videos are interesting to see how others play, I am also curious how to get vids of the races on a PS3.

Darkdrium777, the music you played on that video is smashing

Very fast paced and very wipeout. Nice overtaking and side shifting moves by the way.

Late reply - the PS3, using svideo, is plugged into a tv tuner on my computer. I use virtualdub to capture the video - audio comes in through the line in - I have an RCA to 3.5mm stereo plug. I sacrifice framerate and resolution for the sake of recording however - svideo only goes at 25 (or 29.97, depending where you live) fps I think and at SD only.

Here is another set of videos, a Friday night Australia vs. New Zealand tournament. Scores are still being calculated, but Australia almost certainly wins.

We already spoke of that with Kaori Xmas hollydays should be a good period. And maybe a parallel tournament on pulse.

I'm not sure what everyone else was doing, but I was in a free-for-all mode

I'd be up for a France vs. Australia/maybe even NZ tournament. Although whichever side hosts will have an advantage (weapon pads have a delay when playing someone in the EU here).

That was hell slow, then again it was Flash speed. As i said to Insertcoin it felt like driving through an infinite series of school zones, your going that slow you want to go faster. Not the best races i have had cause my ship was being a bit of a bitch. But damn that was close towards the end. One point. Good racing though Ben

Sounds good. I need to get my standards back, so i can break this rain of French domination in the Wipeout universe.

Nice. i hope that this summer its not going to be extremmly hot, cause i leave the PS3 off on those hot nights, no point having the PS3 on cause it makes the room into a fan forced oven since there is no AC.

Nice racing! I wish I could join one of those avalon races - look intense. I'm either always at school or asleep.

These holidays, I'll try and make it in =]

    Thanks Mad-Ice.

I love the bit in the Anulpha Pass race video going into the final lap. Missile - Turbo - then you almost lose it and go off the track on the straight, get it back somehow and then pull off the BR in the narrow section. Stunning stuff! This sort of action would sell the game to people, Sony should use it for promos and we should link to it on other forums.

Phantom looks really fast on You Tube - faster than when I play it. Maybe it shows that Wipeout HD is fast, but it`s just the 60fps that makes it look otherwise.

I will check out the other videos, should be interesting to see what you are doing.
