WipEout-Game.com, the official site for all things WipEout, has gone live today in anticipation of the launch of WipEout Pulse.

From there you'll be able to create ship skins for use in WipEout Pulse after logging in with your PLAYSTATION®Network account. Plus you can sync your profile with the site for tedium free record entry - no typing them in by hand for the FX400 Racing League. There's other stuff, too - team back stories, wallpaper, that kind of thing.

It is indeed a great site, I just spent 2 and a half hours working to perfect my Assegai's new look, still not 100% finished to my satisfaction, but I must sleep, so till tomorrow.

Its late and i'm just checking out the site and here and I'm sitting here with a cup of tea feeling pretty proud of what we've done.

Pure was a massive achievement in a tight time, Pulse is everything we wanted to do back then and more, and the website for me is the icing on the cake and I particularly salute Rob and the work he has done over the past few months because right now, it proves it was worth it.

I did actually mean to replace that, because I did it earlier this year just after I did the one for this site.

So it is a rip off, in so much as you can rip off yourself...!

Looks like there are already cheaters in the rankings. Take a gander at the 26-second lead "kido579" has on KANDANG in the Single Race/Best Race/Venom/Metropia White table.

I know for a fact KANDANG is a far better than average player, so unless there was a transmission/interpretation error by the website, suspect h4x.

Race times that appear to have a whole lap missing have been caused by bug. We'll work on a way of filtering them out of the site.

Rest assured that the times aren't being caused by cheaters.

That's reassuring, because overt hacks are one thing, but if it were possible to subtly tweak laptimes through, say, savefile editing, it would completely kill off the excitement for everyone wishing to compete on even terms.

Pulse's savefiles are encrypted, yes?
