Pulse at 333?
I know that it has been said that pulse can play at 333 before. Can c anyone in the know(rob) confirm this now. It has been a while since I heard this. Also, can it be played at 222 as well? if you can answer that

That's a yes
Not sure how it affects your poor old battery, though.

So you can acutaully choose between 222 and 333? How does this affect graphics?

No, it runs at 333 by default. No choice.
As far as graphics are concerned, you'll have to wait and see. Sorry

Yeah, apparently the old "phat" batteries give much extended battery life-- but there aren't official "backs" to hold the larger batteries in place in the PSPslim. Or at least, they are not widely available yet.
So far I've been getting pretty decent battery life with my PSP slim + Wipeout Pure but then again, I mostly have turned the music off and use sleep mode extensively.

Sony has released them already. But I'm not sure if you can get them through Amazon or what-do-I-know...

You don't need the back on it to hold the fat battery in it firmly stays in by itself

You can get unofficial phat battery covers for the slim psp here:

I have a 2200 mAh battery so I think I will get such a cover.
Good to hear Pulse runs at 333 Mhz by default. That renders my question on how it effects the graphics pretty useless

It's really the framerate that benefits. That was one aspect we had to improve after criticisms of Pure.

Pure was very silky smooth at 333, for whoever got it to run at that speed

Man, Pulse is going to be absolute madness with infrastructure. I'm just glad I get to start out with a fair amount of carryover experience from Pure (regrettably a latecomer to the game), while starting out on an entirely new game relatively even with the rest of the fanatics here.
Nine days and counting, baby.
