There is no officiall demo yet. I would like to have one, though.

If news of the North American release is true then I say yes there should be a demo. Just so it can pass the time until we get it.
Now would I put money down that there will be one prior to any markets receiving the full version. No. Only because of the delays from our expectations (livery editor in August and early Fall release date) on the hard working folk at Studio Liverpool.
Maybe after the fact that the game's been released. Yes there may be one. It happened when they packaged it with the Stealth UMD.
It would be a pleasant surprise to see the demo on the news sites I frequent. Think I'd be playing that as often as I used to on Staten Park or Sol 2
