Aphex Twin - Girl/Boy
I've always hated this kind of thread.
I think this thread is alright if you comment on what you are listening to instead of simply stating your music.
O-Zone - Dragostea Din Tei
Original Romainian Version
Otherwise known as the Numa Numa song. You'd be suprised at my eclectic music taste. It's suprisingly catchy and I find myself humming it, even mid game.
Alice Cooper -> Desperado
my Ex introduced me to Alice's music a couple years ago, I only like a few of his songs, probably this the mostest
Churr Churr
-Stevie
Askai - GT4 Mix Part 2
I can't remember who posted it here (is there a member called askai?) but I have grabbed pretty much every song or DJ set that anyone on these boards has produced and posted.
There's been a few bits that were good enough to motivate me to grab more stuff by those people from their homepages... eg: Vojeet's efforts
The Downward Spiral, Johnny Cash's cover of the NIN classic, made when Johnny was in his last years. Perfect mood for Spilskinanke in WO2.
That song and his performance of it are beautifully haunting, Lance.
To be honest, I don't think this thread is worth a whole lot either unless people do as insertcoin suggested and actually comment on what they're listening to. Otherwise it just amount to spam and a waste of bandwith.
Yeah, some of Cash's last recordings, when his voice was almost gone, are some of the best renditions we will ever hear. Desperado was another of his late performances that I like very much. He just seems totally real, no faking it, nothing done for show or to be cool or for the sake of ego. Just singing what the song says.
the cool thing about Cash's cover of Hurt is that it completely changes the listeners perspective of the song.
you really get the impression in listening that he's lonely and it hurts.. strange since June was still alive at the time of recording.
I own the four American Recordings albums that were finished when he was alive. they're great road music
