Stuck On Challenge

The first challenge for Auricom (I think) where you have to overtake the Van Uber craft on Alca Vexus... damn thing X(

If I try to fly the track properly, using airbrakes on the corners, it leaves me standing, but if I try to simply power my way around with total disregard for personal safety I scrape the corners and it leaves me standing.
Its been like this for months... it's getting silly now

Don`t use airbrakes but pick a right line including boost pads

I think I have a good line through most of the track, but I always get into trouble on the very first corner/S-bend (but sometimes I get lucky) and where the track splits around that rock thing.... I especially lose time around the rock thing.
Any ideas?
