    Default 2006-09-28: Server move complete

In a bit of a whirlwind 24 hours, Wipeoutzone has completed the move to a new, more powerful server.

Hopefully our new home will prove to be both more reliable and faster than the previous one. A quick flick through the records tables would indicate that it is indeed faster than phantom.

Thanks Rob, hopefully no more waiting for Wipeoutzone to be online, to fill in some new records.

Are we going to get the WZ favicon back on bookmarks instead of the white seagull on green background?

When I tried to access the site and the forum yesterday, I was like "WTF?!", though I guessed it had something to do with this.

Good to see the site's back up, better than ever.

The zone icon should replace the seagull one over time if your browser has taken it upon itself to use the seagull one.

The Seagull project is an application framework led by a good friend of mine - I've done some CSS work for it - and WipeoutZone happens to share the same server as the Seagull project, amongst other sites.
