    Default 333 megahertz

Has anyone gotten the PSP to run at 333 yet instead of 222 with wipeout pure?

    yes.
    but not me.

    The game runs smoother.

But it's just possible on 1.5 or something. Take a look at www.pspupdates.com and use the search function

There are currently no ways to increase to 333 Mhz through official means, though hopefully there will be soon. Any tricks or programs you find online that can achieve this are very, very pirated indeed, and even breathing the word "homebrew" to Sony customer service would void your warranty even faster than Sony could send the Black Helicopters to destroy your home with Vulcan cannons.
