look at the t-shirts!
They will make promotion (?)
Yeah looks like a Tigron (2nd from left) and a Van-uber craft (right) behind the monitor but I could be wrong.
All I need now is to raise some money to import a psp and Pure.
hmm, the far left looks like an icaras to me, the next clearly is the piranha with livery paintjob, then the zone ship, and the far right one is vanuber for sure!Originally Posted by Sausehuhn

Wow, those photo's and art are the most beautifull things i saw. Who do i have to kill to get those?
hey foxy, stop teasing! tell us already!
Uber Mall?
w00t w00t w00t!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Fox,
take your Digi Cam with you when you're in the studios the next time and take a few photos for all the WipEout hungry european people here!
what i would do to get my hands on those ship vector drawings... man that would make a great shirt... if they would make shirts i would buy all of them i love the graphic design!
Mmm, nice. Uber Mall sounds good :
<sarcasm>What a fantastic idea... I'm sure my boss would approve of industrial espionage!</sarcasm>Originally Posted by Sausehuhn
Erm... No. Most of the folk in the studio are quite shy - otherwise they'd be posting on here with Linky and Colin already, I imagine.
I really hope they make an art book or "the making of Pure" which includes this art work (hey it's been done for doom 3 and half life). Those pictures look awesome! I love the zone ship with the sky background..alost as if it flew straight off the track
It would be such a shame if they "lost" the artwork like I heard they did for wip3out. Still have nightmares about some dark figure coming along, picking up a beautifully hand drawn Ag Sys or Goteki45 canvas and just chucking it in the bin
cant we start some sort of petition? I'm sure loads of people here would like to buy a book like that, the art work is so amazing!
omg how sweet would it be to have a book called 'The Art of wipE'out'' including everything from the very beginning up to now. concept sheets, team boards, track studies, everything! Man, I would pay A LOT for such a book!
yeah I really think there's a market out there for a book like this, so it cant be a bad investment... The fact that the artwork is a large component of the game justifies publishing a book...
A collection that spans the entire wipeout series would be amazing. I've been collecting wipeout images and media for years now but it's clear that wipeout 1and 2 images/artwork are not very publicised... whether they still exist is a more important question. These forums have been a great source for finding that kind of stuff, but it would seriously push the resources of any pilot here to find as much artwork for the early wipeouts as the recent wipeout efforts. Back then, the internet wasn't as widely available so there were no fancy official webpages (but i knew when i saw wip3out site that they were onto something).
I'll upload some artwork I've collected (but i cant remember where i got them from...)
if anyone else has concept art, be great to upload.
check them...

I am on the hunt for similar gifs of the 3d auricom of other ship. I know they exist because I used to have them but this was the only one I salvaged from a damaged CD-r..
ooooh, the wipEout 1 pictures are SAWEET!
shame they didn't put that track in the final game... looks ace.
Heh I remember that image!
Wasnt it in Edge?
I think so. I made a request for this image on the forums a week back. I think they said it was from edge... it was an article about the announcement of wip3out but they used this image. Now if only fusion was like that image... Ps2 is certainly capable of those kind of images and more... such wasted opportunity I hope Liverpool studios revisit the PS2 platform before it dies out with another wipeout... perhaps a collectors edition with the artwork and making of as well as all three games and tracks rendered in ps2 engine. If they just jump onto a PS3 then the only thing we'll remember about the PS2 and wipeout is "a big mistake". C'mon Sony!

That grinning goon in the GamesRadar article is me, I'm afraid ...
Hi Rob!
