Nick Burcombe announces something WipEout related (not a game)

To be clear, something strictly WipEout related will be announced in a few weeks, but it’s NOT a game, and apparently not a book, nor a model.

He mentioned that it's much better than a book... Is it the once planned movie or some series set in WipEout universe? I always loved the lore and the settings and thought it would be great to see it in something more than games. Anyway, I just hope that whatever it is, it will shine some light onto the franchise once more. Ace Combat recently came back from the dead, maybe WipEout can too.

Well.... a wow factor of 11/10, it’s not a new game but it’s better than a book...
I don’t think it is a movie, but what about a TV show ??! Jeff Bezos loves the sci-fi show The Expanse and it’s one of the reasons Amazon bought it from Syfy to produce new seasons... maybe he’s also a fan of WipEout ?

He's replied that it's
Not a Book
Not a Model
Not a TV show
Not a Game
What's that leave you ?
Since Sony now owns the IP to Wipeout, I'm guessing whatever it is would have had to have their blessing, or even instigated by them.

Totaku didn’t seem to struggle getting the license for their models. And people like Shaun Mooney have no issue distributing (selling?) fan art using their IP.
Other things it could be: merch, comics, any type of fan art.
He mentioned "side project", "not from me". So yeah, any form of fan art.
