Quick question: what craft do you guys find the easiest/most enjoyable to design? Some of the dual-engine ships like Qirex & Goteki have a greater surface area, but in my opinion single engine ships look cooler.

it makes little difference to me from an enjoyment stance, but single hulls are definitely easier.

As I have never played HL1, I made it based off some HL2 stuff
I was going for it looking like a human craft that the combine had tacked some of their technology onto. the armor at the rear is mostly in colours used on the combine APC.
There's a lot of details that I put in that are simply not visible in the final result. I need to use more contrast in my work

the results can be amusing.. an assegai smeared with bits of my 2097 qirex skin for example... it doesn't work too well, but then it only seems to appear before the race? once on the track I've seen them revert to the standard skin
Yeah, I'm not quite sure how it works. Sometimes peoples skins transfer over completely fine. Other times not. I love seeing peoples skins online though. It's a real treat.

I have started to collect immages of the best skins since the beginning. Two folders: one with pictures for 3d presentation and annalysis, and one with folders containing the 2d blueprint and best 3d shots most of them downloaded from CR4SH3D’s site.
Still appart from gorgious designs with a lot of personality , some skins of the former ships have been presented like Dogg Thang’s Qirex/Piranha prototype from F5000.

If by any chance they are not your personal racing skin i’d love to have them in my collection so please could you upload them on CR4SH3D’s site or here.
Also , as odd as it may sound i think that it would be great to have all the former skins in the previous games, what do you think? Anyone whith sucicient PhotoShop experience upthere?
And one more thing, did any one figured out a way to have more then 5 custom skins at a time saved in game?
does it save them on a per-profile basis? that could allow you to keep multiples of 5 on your psp. keeping more than that on wipeout-game.com is probably a bad idea though.. if the skins per user decision was based on storage limitations
yes i think it could. The files are numbered TEAMSKIN0000, 1, 2, 3, 4 so i hoped that if i put a 5 or a 6 in the back it would save them but nope. The unfortunate part is that the site has flows , for example i can't have slot 4 and 5 at the same time, one reads error when saving. also if you have dowloaded a skin and you try to copy it for an other card it won't read.
my point is that instead of resaving 5 slots all the time it would have been nice to have an army of skins all the time, just imagine 4G full of ships :dizzy.
in site , no, i have no use of storring them, wy should i ? in my PSP , well there is an other story :)

i wouldnt mind a kinda anime/vector art skin with the panels marked out for ag-sys. something that has the same "feel" as the style of wip3out and with the wip3out ag-sys logo, that would be awesome :)

EDIT: Sorry about the image. The first few jpgs at that resolution that I posted from the psp photo mode were all well under 50k and after a while I stopped checking. Won't happen again.

could someone make a template for the assegai ship, so i know where everything goes, if it was done in block colours it would be good. I ask as the templates from the site use too many different colours to be easily moddable for n00bs like me :D, also could someone make a black hole/supernova skin with realityhole down one side, maybe make it similar to the alternate assegai skin (white & blue) but in really dark blue thats almost black but u can still see the blue and silver or something similar.

but I wasn't happy with my first attempt, so I made a second design.

I was wondering if someone would like to take up the challenge of making me a custom Triakis skin. Here's what I'm looking for:
-Silver, Black, and White color scheme

-And on one of the front spires the words "Fenrir Sabre"
