Does anyone know if a copy of the original Fusion website is lying about on any website out there? It was hosted on http://show.goodtech.co.uk/wipeout/f9000.html for quite a while but seems to have been removed.
I only ask because there was some interesting information on there and it would be shame for it to be lost.
Well, I tried the internet archive and it seems all is lost - it exists but only displays a dark blue background:frown:
I just have the intro, wasn't able to save the whole site on my HDD back in the days :/

I noticed it has gone too :( I tried to save the entire site because those eerie sounds were fantastic lol I only got the intro though
I've spent some time on this myself, as I'm trying to gather info to better back a Pure fanfic I'm trying to set (I need better info for creating the new pilots since time has passed). I'll head back and re-crawl this series of tubes about it (and I'm aware that it's not a truck) and see what I can do. I'm usually very good about these things. I didn't know about this hosting so that helps out a lot.

Which is what I love about this game - something to consider for the rumoured upcoming Wipeout PS3 project after HD.
I feel this site shows part of the depth in which the series has seemed to lose...
Not so much lost as never had to begin with.
All the backstory in Fusion was a noble experiment, a lot like free-form environments, ship upgrades, extra track elements, super weapons, and zone mode. Zone still remains the game's only strong point among the fans here. The loops and vertical drops are now possible again thanks to the MagStrip.
Unfortunately, one of the things I really liked about Fusion - the environment and the universe that was typed up for the game - went the way of the free-form and downforcey handling and ship upgrades.
And damn I'd kill to see something like the Fusion universe again. Just not as outlandish, of course.
Fusion's overall style wasn't bad at all... just the physics, which are as, if not, more important than graphics, broad tracks and pretty much everything else...

None of the archived versions of the site I saw had any of the forum content, I think it's lost forever.
Ah, the days of Rob "webmaster" Foxx and The Person Above game. And the HoverRace invasion.
Yeah, the Fusion forums are no big loss.
I know no Fusion websites ares still up, but does anyone (Nadia_Elenova?) still have the assets of the page (images, videos, screencaps etc)? Or who now own these website assets? (Sony, Clever Beans, Good Technology/VML London?)

Alright everybody. I did a bit of research. Eventually, a few months ago, I got in touch with the developer who integrated the online leader board and worked for the agency that created the site. He indeed kept a copy of the whole site (!) and is kind enough to host it again! Some links won’t work, but I guess it’s fair to say that the revival itself is enough of a sensation – and Flash isn’t even required! Check it out everyone:
