TCK: that is some mighty fancy piloting, I must say!
Well done indeed :+

Thx for all those videos hosted everywhere by the tough guys i much appreciate those dons
Hey guys, I've posted that nearly everywhere in this forum lol, but I thought it would be good to post it into the right thread too lol. Here's 42 vids recorded during the avalon week-end. Baad Youtube quality, but sometimes maybe you could recognize yourself!

Hey Osama,
Didn't know you were here too, I raced you today (or at least I tried) under my PSN nick 'rocketclowns' (my company name). Good to see you here!
Great game!
Ubermall Reverse Time Trial
Check the description for different quality links.
I included tips using the Youtube annotation tool, you can turn them off using the post-it or whatever icon in the bottom right corner if you want to watch the video with no interruption. The tips are mainly there for the shortcut turbo jump, but for some other things as well. ;)
Wow...that's just bonkers. Very cool video and tutorial!
Nicely done! :clap

How's this for the ultimate comeback against the Elite AI? :)
Lol, can i hear some bad words in there? Nice race mate :D
For anyone that may be interested the first tournament of the recent dutchmen-england match is up on wegame http://www.wegame.com/users/yeldar2097/
the next 3 tournaments will be up shortly
First test of WeGame, happy that it kept my ultra smooth frame rate intact :D

Unfortunately all I get with Wegame is a very high quality slideshow so it`s hard to watch videos on it :( Living in the countryside my internet connection is very agricultural and the data is brought to me from the nearest telephone exchange by donkeys. I used to be very anti YouTube because of the obvious quality issues, but its practicality still makes it a good choice for a lot of people with less than lightspeed connections, I think.
Great lessons in TT techniques from Leungbok and DD77, thanks! If we are doing requests or if you are short of ideas, could you please show me how to get a sub 22.5 on Sebenco Fwd. I can do all 96 barrel rolls on this track ;) but am stuck for the best place to turbo and a solid method to significantly reduce my time :dizzy
Yeah my own video takes an age for me to load >.< I think I'll stick with youtube for the moment.
@ lunar: if there isn't a vid for sebenco already then i'll make one for you (and everyone else) :)
hi everyone- heres a vid of me motion controlling on phantom -
sorry for delay-
http://www.wegame.com/watch/motion_c...or_wipeout_HD/
thanks Yeldar, that would be great to see. Definitely not many (or any?) videos of this track around showing fast times :)
As requested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z9nmoh-OL2k
Sebenco Climb Phantom Speed lap chasing my 22.71 ghost.
I'm 100% certain i can do this faster, it's not a very good lap as it stands.
Just a quick demo on how to get under 22.00
Exactly these kind of laps kill me, because i can't race with chase view at all. That much BR's per lap in cockpit is not so.. fun? nice lap Yeldar, your positions in rankings are very much deserved.
That`s brilliant Yeldar, thanks. Lots of good tips there, and I was using the other turbo method - at the very top of the climb, but I think you have likely proved which method is faster :banzai
That video is a "Classic" example of -less is more.
How do you value which BR and how many to perform before these BR's actually LOSE you time?
Trial and error I guess.
Good to know I've inspired people to use the annotations :p
yeah all credit to you for inspiring me to use annotations. i guess i should have put in the full lap with no pauses in afterwards but i forgot. it was far too late and i wasn't really thihnking properly. i might do that today though
basically what i do is i do a lap that i think is quite fast then i just play around with it, seeing how to do each section fastest (using a turbo to get ahead if necessary)
for example: when doing my moa therma reverse lap (still top 10 i hope), i set my record on the 99th lap and throughout the whole session i only went for 3 fast laps.
my philosophy is: if the ghost get's ahead at ANY point, ditch the lap
Hope this helps :D
i know exactly what you mean kgb. until connavar's site came into being i used to give up after 15 laps or so.
i decided to set myself a goal (giving kingheim the jump on overall-phantom rankings ;)) and i found that all of a sudden i had much more patience for it.
setting yourself a goal with that website is good advice to anyone wanting to find the patience to get good laps (unless you're a budding alien in which case you'll do it in 3 laps :P)
with regards the sebenco lap (and any other i do): do you guys think it owuld be a good idea if i take the annoteted version on youtube and then try to film each section of the lap separately (because i can't seem to get in all right in one lap ;))?
what i mean is, actually showing the fastest way to do each section. yes/no/maybe??
i do very differently than u yeldar..in my 21.72 i miss 2 br ;)
well you way is probably faster, i'm just guessing at how to do it :)
how do you do it? video? stp??? :D
not sure 100% yeldar but illl try to film that when i ll can
@ Yeldar - Thank you so much for that Sebenco F speed lap video. Your advice on how to attack that first left-hander alone has worked wonders for me...it's clearly the quickest way around that corner. Just raced you for a bit online too...good times. As you could see by my finishes against some great pilots, I'm getting better. Aside from lots of practice, of course, my improved racing is also the result of my realization that the ship I'm most competitive with on Phantom is Feisar! :o Mirage weeps... :(
I've started using Feisar again as well [for some TT's] knocked 4 seconds of my Chenghou reverse phantom time.:rock
Still can't get that BR correct coming over the bump and heading into the straight.:|
More practice.
Hmmm, i'm waiting to see an eventual video of Pirhapac on this track, i listened to another method of attacking the first left hander.
But yeldar's method is very fast too, let's wait and see ;)
I've found that you can lift your nose and fly over part of the side wall just before you get into the tunnel;)
yeah my lap wasn't too great but i'm making another vid which should be up soon
i put my link here too cuz i think "anerare " is blind.;he send me a mp cuz he think ive deleted again my video(for do better hmm)my video posted yesterday..his mp today..so before to talk like a pussy( the chiryu style )get better eyes and read all new messages in topic in this fabulous site anerare( plutot ane que rare d ailleurs) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6iwcr6z1C0 and link for my method on sebenco sl (hd quality utube coming soon) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_f9-Q2ISv0
thanks pirhapac :D
Taking Requests
I've decided that considering I'm on holiday and have a massive amount of free time, i'm going to take requests for any vids that people want.
just write on my wall or PM me your request and i'll get do my best to make a good vid :D
