Finally! After 3 months of playing I got it on my one and only account. I'll have to come back and edit this post when I look at the exact amount of hours I've played. I play online like 80% of the time, so that's why it has taken me so long.

Finally got it too :)
Took me around 82 hours, over the lapse of one year.

Ironically, Gemini was my final trophy :P

I reached Transcendence on 11-04-2010 16:37 somewhat later I did the last fury trophies to reach 100% completion.

I took me about 65 hours, that also included some online play.

Some trophies were hard, but everything is just a matter of determination. Keep at it & eventually you will get all trophies.

Only one more trophy required to trancend my US account (afatsuoM2). I need 50000 more loyalty points with Harimau. It seems I went through the game too fast. :o

Got it today (30/4/2010) at 18:23 PST after 59 hours over 8 months. Last major trophy was Zone Zeus, actual last trophy was Gemini. Feels good man 8)

just got it (2/5/10) I don't know the exact time but it must have been around 7:15 GMT

Got my second Transcendance (with my US account: afatsuoM2). Got it last saturday. Don't know the time. Will look it up as soon as I'm home.

I went through the trophies pretty fast, but that meant low loyalty points. So WipEout Disciple took the longest.

Btw, it's funny to be at a low online ranking and beating higher ranked players. :beer I'm level 38 with my "normal" account, but only somewhere around level 14 with this account. Beating level 50+ players never felt this good.

Im actually not that far off the Transcendence trophy. Just need to get that bugger Zico. Irritating as hell. Already pulled off the Transcendence trophy with a mate early on this year on another account at his place, need to ask him what account we used so i can post it on this thread list. :)

Im Sooo glad to join you here my fellow elite wipers! Yes the Bear has transcended!!! Zz was the last trophy i achieved. What a rush reaching supersonic. Ive honestly Not experienced anything like it playing a game before! wohd is certainly my proudest Plat and id like to just say u guys are friggin awesome thanks for all the help, advice and support especially with the bling brigade trophy. What a bloody joke that was! When i started out on wipeout a few of my buddys laughed at me when i said i was taking it on sayin it was near impossible and i was waisting my time. Well screw them! losers lol, in your face!!! Id very much like to keep in contact with everyone ive met on here. U may not see me on wohd so much now as i have other projects im working on but im very fond of the game and if u see me online and fancy a race msg me and..... Bring it on!!! Well, in fact I didn´t ... To my big suprise my two kids half an hour ago demanded to play Wipeout :eek After a few splitscreen-races they transcended :lol
3 years old + 7 years old = 10 years old
... I think they´re the youngest "Transcenders" yet ... :rolleyes: :lol

Gotcha!

I resolved that I was going to get it today, played pretty much non stop from 11 am to get the remaining trophies (with a break for dinner and a couple of beers lol) and transcended at 2:50 am 1/6/2010.

Doing elite campaign legend meltdown tournament when i flew over the line of ubermall to win and had 43 pts when I saw the next ship had 31 with only sol left to do I had the biggest smile ever haha.

Big respect to everyone who has this and everyone who's going for it too.

I finally Transcended on the 30/5/2010. Got my first trophy on the 9/10/2008 so it took me a bit longer that i had planned, but i got there eventually :rock

when I first got the game (a couple of weeks after it came out) I was a complete fail at it (it's very different to the first four games and I'd never played the PSP ones) but as I got better I started to get a few of the harder trophies when I beat zico (after over a year of trying) I decided to have a proper shot at platinum
I got it about a month ago

wipeout is one of those (old-school) games that are hard to master but once you do there is nothing more satisfying!(maybe nothing ;)... )
personally i ve never tried wipeout during the psone or ps2 era (i was young and stupid^^).
but once i saw the psp version in 2005 i bought a psp just for wo pure!
it was hell at first but eventually i mastered it and became my fav psp game :)
i bought a ps3 last december and wipeout hd with it.
the handling was different than pure but my experience with tracks helped a lot.
it took me 3 months for platinum.
then i made another account and it took me only 10 days...

my previous experience with wipeout,my love for racing games( i'm a big gt fan),my love for space and electronic music certainly helped a lot!
so my point is that wipeout is hard but you need days of practice to become good, that's why we all like it i guess ;)

WipeoutHD was the first Wipeout game i owned, i was way over my head when i got it, but i was the same with the hard trophies, 3000+ laps it took me to get Zico, just couldnt get the BR onto the bridge, it was infuriating. But once that was outta the way, ECL was just practicing the tracks. Everything else i got over a year ago.

yeah zico is a really hard. (not as hard as elite campaign though imo)
i find that its better to try 50-100 laps and take a break rather than keep trying for 500 because you need to be cool and patient!
the first time i wanted to break the controller, took me 400 laps i think.
the second time was a breeze,only 30 laps...
practice and patience is the key.

I got mine around a month and a couple of days after d/l but alot of hours played.

I'm sure anyone on this site is better than I am at wipeout as im pretty noob but if anyone having alot of trouble with those tough golds and platinum just a couple of tips from my personal experience playing.

Zeus - Make sure you're not playing on a laggy television. I play on an hdtv flatscreen and was having alot of trouble consistently getting past about zone 65 on anulpha pass, but when i hooked the ps3 up to my old portable tele with the SCART connector I got it on the first attempt.

Zico - Got really lucky with this one as the first time I managed to execute 4 basic BRs in a lap I got the trophy. (2 in the middle, 1 onto and 1 off the overpass). so didnt have to spend any time refining the lap, but felt the lap was pretty poor tbh, only hit 13 speed pads most deem to hit 14, so just pratice the rolls and you'll get it.

ECL - Def the toughest ime. especially on meltdown races. I think the AI is similar to 2097 which i played alot of in that the enemy ships are usualy in groups of 2 or 3 and the AI will let you catch one group at a time then move onto the next. So sometimes its best to focus on getting past the ships immediately in front of you and be aggressive with weapons rather than getting perfect laps all the time. (obviously its not quite that simple and you do need to be fast too). I found on the occasions I was really fast and got into first place on lap 2 or so the AI would just destroy me with rockets and missiles usually. Sometimes the AI just says ' No, you're not winning this one', it def takes some perseverance and a cool temper at times.

I found it also helps to have the sound muted for zeus

That list is so out of whack :naughty, that's what happens when people copy and paste things without proper editing, whole groups of people [me included, and I Transcended over a year ago :) ] who have posted in this thread aren't on that last list.
If I get the inclination I'll go through this thread and update the list properly,pointless having it as it is atm.

The list is a shiitfest right now, i got to agree there.

I dont know where the legit list ends and the bullshit list begins. :S

I just wondered about that myself.
