Is 99 laps possible? I always assumed 20 was the max. for multiplayer.

Guys, 20 laps on Venom 1v1 is completely awesome and demonic. I was down 11 seconds to Nutcase on Modesto Heights (Rev) after going kaboom. I crawled back and won with a 3 second lead. :eek

Preferably against someone who can record the match because I'm trying to convince a mate of mine to buy Wipeout. He wants to see some 1-on-1 action involving me. So would be cool if anyone's up for it :)

Racing with D_P_89 was a great experience: he outran me for about 1 sec at the beginning of almost every race and maintained the lead for the rest of the run; really stable and smooth driving, my poor little Feisar could do nothing with higher class opponent :) Even theoretical Feisar's handicap on Sol2 didn't help me (3 times Sol2 fwd, bleeeeh :D ).
In the meantime...
