It was really great fun racing Rom last night. I did not veto barrel rolls because, as much as they've ruined the franchise for me, I didn't think it would change the results.
At one point Rom asked if I wanted to try a slower speed class than phantom.
"Vector?" I suggested, but HD doesn't have parking mode. ;)
I really appreciated Rom stepping down to Rapier for me, and I'm happy I got a win on my favourite HD track, even if it was due to a lucky quake/missile pick-up combo.
I had such a good time racing that it's a shame my participation in the cup has come to an end, but Rom wiped the floor with me and it's clear he has the talent to continue toward the finals. Best of luck to you, my friend! :+

ichigo17 and myself are racing on 2nd Jan 2011, 8pm GMT. lucky i speak a bit of french, made arrangements easier. sorry for not keeping you lot updated but my raptor is in the loop so should go smoothly. Well done to everyone who has raced so far (win or not) and a Happy New Year of flying to all mankind :)

I think it's ok now mate. Must admit I'm focused on the boards here lol. Happy new year to everyone, & big thanks to the pilots who already played their meeting. Mine is scheduled to next saturday if everything's cool. I'll probably record this one, so you guys could laugh a bit (not played for a while now).
Today we'll start to report the MIA pilots with all my raptor mates, & we'll distribute a few fastpaths for round 2 to the pilots who faced this situation, around Jan. 9.

By my problem with YLOD, holidays, New Year's Eve, a little lost contact with the wipeout, sorry for that.
There is still a lots of matches to go in 1st round, but in Owl Cloud round 2nd is already started for Danterich and Skynet_t_x. And ended for Skynet.

The website's address line for vulture's page is .../owl, while owl's is .../owl-2. I find this odd.
Also I just tried KGB's link, and I'm getting a 502 bad gateway link to falcon's board atm, but that's probably an issue with challonge.
I'll hopefully have my match with damigisan soon, I had to ask to reschedule the match we planned for yesterday because I was unexpectedly a bit messed up :(
