Anyone hear of Blockhead?? I can only remember hearing them once, and I remember that they're in close relation with Aesop Rock.
Blockhead: You've Got Maelstrom.
Derrick May
Mayday album
anybody and everybody who knows about this man, has at least heard the Mayday album.
one of the first and hottest record albums before Icon, Nude Photo, and Strings of Life!
RESPECT!
Arabian Daze - Tranan remix. Lovely dreamy transporting music...:| I can see myself adding this to my Pulse soundtrack...ahhh...
John Digweed - Gridlock (Digweed & Muir's Stereo Club Mix).
I recommend this track to anyone who's into to deep prog.
got it from www.beatport.com
Absolutely intense track!
Daft Punk - Musique
A house classic. Need I say more?
I object. Daft Punk is not house music. Robert Owens, Mr. Fingers, Masters at Work -- they're house music. Daft Punk is dance music which is similiar, albeit somewhat more commercial and watered down. :)

I am listening www.di.fm . A free web radio with incredible choice of various electronic music, you must have a look on it. That's almost 4 years i am addicted to it.
Currently playing a set of Jav D - Smu[th] episode 074 ( real house music the now : need more progressive beats & happy music :p )
di.fm progressive channel is great.
sometimes you'll find a really good deal playing on www.protonradio.com too.
proton has turned into a minimal/electro trash house of late, but sometimes you get the nice deep, groovy set.
Funnily enough progressive channel is the one i am addicted ( we can't love the same F1 team, Fawad but seems we're connected through music :guitar and of course WipEout&Toronto too :rock)
I highly recommend the DJ Cruze for funky electronica. :D
His podcast is always packed with quality tunes, and if WipEout Pulse is anything to go by he's a damn good lead programmer, too. ;) :D

Jeff Beck - Brush with the Blues... ;P
Aphex Twin - Fenix Funk 5
You'll remember this song from the Pulse soundtrack. ;) Very awesome song.
Funnily, I'm listening to Fenix Funk 5 as well.
It's an awesome song, the mood of the song keeps changing.
I play Pure without music, so most probably it will stay that way for Pulse as well. It has not stopped me from thinking about what music I would use, though.
So far, I have been thinking that something like Cult of Luna, Isis, Neurosis or Red Sparowes could do the trick. On the other hand, their songs are typically quite long which might not be suitable unless Pulse has continuous playback. Using shorter songs, I think that Converge might be a good choice. Their aggressive style could be a nice fit with kai, eerm... infrastructure. ;)
Now, back on topic. :p
Cult of Luna - Into the Beyond
Chemical Brothers - Under the Influence from the Wip3out soundtrack. ;)
The Offspring --} Hit that
