Yes, thank you very much for the christmas gifts! :rock
Alien, these are absolutely fantastic. Top marks mate, I am sooo having these hanging from my bedrom ceiling! :D
Can someone explain the "Cut A" part? O.o
Hee hee... hee hee hee...
(state of happy delirium)
Thanks so much Alien for the gorgeous papermodels. Amazing amazing.
I don't play Pure (YET) but I have a sentimental attachment to Coke. It somehow seems right when the mother of all mass-industry commercialistic media exploiting consortiums joins hands with my favourite video game manufacturer from around the corner...or should it be Sony who is the mother of it all??
I drool over the Coca-cola ag craft...
(a little voice keeps whispering, AG systems, ag systems...)
But it's not like anyone's going to complain, these ones are AWESOME!
Thanks again.:D
work continues wit the AG-SYSTEMS

Excellent stuff. That one is going to take me a long time to make :P
Thx for that present Jan, you rock dude :guitar : Merry Xmas :xtree
Sorry for the delay, but I have big issues to upload my archives online.
All models are not available yet (just Assegai and Icaras), but you can look at pictures ;-)

Merry Christmas wipers !
Special congratulations to ALIENS99 for his exclusive EXO craft !
I can't wait for the Pure AG-Sytem craft (so lovely), I hope soon...
oh my god....
im absolutely...flabbergasted. i think that explains it.
these arent papermodels! they are craft - they look like they could emit blue jet rays out of their behinds and fly around a room at some ungodly speed in true wipeout fashion!!
Top work - id download and create them but im too scared - i would hate to do a bad job, because that would just ruin it :P
Keep up the utterly brilliant work.
What's there to ruin? It's paper :) Would love to get my hands dirty on a project like this it, but for a country that uses the metric system there are stuff that still is measured under the Imperial system.
America and the UK get with the times! :D
Any body know the Imperial system (lbs - pounds) equivalent for the paper that is used in making something like this? I was thinking like using card stock but I'd definitely would love to hear from those people who've made these and can help me out. I've done the Google thing and it only makes my head hurt doing the math.
I was planning on throwing them all on a USB key and taking it over to the local print shop and asking them to print them for me on the heaviest stock they had. Let the professionals deal with it!
I was hoping I could figure it out from there. 8 )
If I manage to get off my arse and do such a thing in a reasonable timeframe, I'll let you know how it goes.
And if I don't, and you get it done, drop me a line on how well it went for you!
Holy *bleep* ! I didn't think that paper size could make a problem !
I use A4 paper (297x210 mm).
Letter paper is close (279x216mm = 11x8 1/2 inch), but you won't have all the drawings.
Legal should be better (356x216mm = 14x8 1/2 inch). http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Format_de_papier
Or you could adjust the picture to the paper size if you acrobat reader (models have no scale !).
These models are stunning. I am absolutely blown away by them. I really am. I'm going to have to try making some. The work that must go into deconstructing these baffles me. It must be a science in itself.
Amazing work.
Over the weekend I received my birthday gift from one of my best friends and his girlfriend. You guys may know him as auslander (aka Steve) on here. Steve told me me at my birthday party that he was assembling my gift and that I'd receieve it later. I had an inkling that it would be this papercraft model. Perhaps it's because of my ramped up interest in all things Wipeout. Who could say.
Steve's girlfriend assembled two of these. One on regular paper (the prototype) the other on premium photo paper. Steve altered the PDF to scale it bigger and change the cockpit for the magnets. Magnets!
This puppy is using good old fashioned science to make it float. You may have seen those toys before that uses the magnets to do funky stuff. I remember these flooding my childhood in the 80s. This one that Steve got is from a globe that hovers in mid-air. A good looking globe too if you ask me. I may switch it from time to time.
Any ways, through trial and error Steve got the right combo to make this hang like the globe did. Took pictures for his blog and to show you guys. Just pay no mind to my room :D
Ladies and gentleman, I present you the FEISAR anti-gravity craft.
The underside of the fabulous FEISAR.
Getting a closer look.
The AG technology that powers the FEISAR craft.
The FEISAR AG craft in action, this time from the rear.
Both Steve and his girlfriend did an amazing job for this. Steve's been brainstorming on making such a thing with magnets for the longest time. Also, constructing it out of balsa wood. Both me and him are not good with such a material, but papercraft allowed him to fulfil his idea. He's got the prototype at home. After giving me my gift Steve said he's working on a 2.0 model for himself.
After giving me this, I thought of finishing the section of track for the base to complete the diorama. Even thinking of fabricating an LED weapon or speed pad. If I do ever get around to it, I'll be posting it here ;)
Dude! That looks awsome!:+:clap
So last time in Toronto when Steve needed to leave the tournament due to his girlfriend actually they were working on your fabulous gift ;)
Tell them i am bloody jealous by their amazing job, the magnet adds a new dimension :clap
i saw these in supersocks' 'wipeout soup' joke, i thought they where real models!!! exellent work dude!
alien, where did you get the fx300 font from? :S:S:S
wow. thats awesome. they did a great job getting them to hover properly :)
Beautiful!!! That's gorgeous - what a gift! To make or recieve!:clap
Wow! Nice FEISAR! :g I like how it looks like it is actually floating off the ground. Magnets, eh? ;) Cool!
I'd like to see a good strong electromagnet hidden under a paper racetrack, and holding a magnet infested model Wipeout racecraft at least an inch/25.4mm off the surface.
yeh I was thinking that too when I saw the pic of the hanging feisar.
you really have to look to see it is hanging.
awsome anyway! ;)
May not be anti-grav but it is still defying gravity by hanging with magnets.
It's now set-up in my room and got the ceiling fan going. The drafts from the fan are moving the craft here and there. Almost like you'd rotate it in a video game if you're selecting your ship :)
spaceboy, i would like to see that on youtube!
alien, if you want an idea of what the underside of the ships look like, refer to the Pure concept art in the 'downloads' section of the website, there one or two pics showing the underside of the AG-SYS and Assegai ships, from there all you need to do is make-up the others by using the concept art as example/reference
first of all it's a pleasure to meet all you pilots here in wipeoutzone! i've been a huge fan of the series since it came out, it's a shame i suck so much at one of the games i love the most! :P
secondly, jan, i am an incredible fan of your work!!! when i stumbled on to your site i almost peed myself. i recently put together the livery version of the feisar craft. after 2 days of steep labor (my art skills are what some might say 'sub-par'... REALLY sub-par) the hours of cutting, scoring, and getting super glue all over myself paid off. the model is the coolest thing i've got in my room (aside from the katamari prince papercraft i put together ages ago.)
PLEASE stay interested in the series! pulse is coming out soon and i'm 190% sure i'll wanna make a fleet of paper models from that game! :D
also as soon as you're done with the teams you're working on (can't wait for both) i'd like to request harimau!
finally if anyone has links to papercraft from other wipeout games i would be eternally grateful! i'm seriously gonna put together as many as i can and XL or fusion models would be intense!
Cheers guys! :pizza
Hey, I'll use the revival of this thread to thank Jan for his amazing work. You're a genious, mate! :beer
Thanks to you, I was able to make the Puma craft as a b-day present to an anonymus fellow wiper and ex. Puma driver who then stepped to the dark side of Triakis. :g

Wow! Nice craft! 8)
Great job KKN :nod
oh and before i forget, a big up to RX for his gorgeous wip3out models, i'm planning to put one in my car! :P
pictures of all my put-together craft to follow!
and supersocks, if you're reading this thanks for the help on kai on the other day, i figured out not using wifi max entails a few more tweaks! (i'm using a linksys router) i found out how to solve the problem on the xlink forum so i shall see you online soon! and hopefully all you other great pilots! hopefully you could give a few tips to a fellow wiper!
first of all proper credits go to the guys who are REALLY good at this kind of stuff:
1. the person who refers to himself as rx(?) and who put up this incredible site: http://pagesperso-orange.fr/rxland/wo3-grille.htm
2. mr Jan Rükr and his awesome site: http://aliens.humlak.cz/aliens/alien..._modely_gb.htm
so i'm in a band and i'm also a HUGE fan of the wipeout series. (the soundtrack on woxl threw me deeper into the whole 'what happens when you mix rock and triphop' thing)
i thought to myself wouldn't it be sweet to put the two interests together? i went ape when i discovered the forum thread about the wipeout pure paper models. it had always been a dream of mine to own a wipeout toy/model, and as soon as i found the link i put together a livery version of jan's wipeout pure feisar! it's probably the coolest thing in my room right now.
here's what i did. i got a wip3out feisar paper model from the first site i mentioned above (thank you so much mr rx man) and skinned it in photoshop with my band's logos, favorite colors and whatnot. it's my first attempt so the detail may be kinda off, but i had a super fun time making it!

Very very nice!!! I really like it! Looking forward to see some more.:nod
Oh damn. It works! It really does :clap Excellence. Any change for bigger pictures to appreciate the full glory of your creation? Those really don't do it justice.
Actually... *Searches for harddisk* ... I was too... *searches for sideboard* ...working on... *searches for camera* ...a similar thing some while ago ;)
SG-FX300 MONARCH (PROTOTYPE)

Front, rear and cockpit are still in three separate parts. Been going to redo the whole front part design because I find the butterfly bit too "fat" currently. But I'm out of inspiration to finish it though now I have a rival so who knows :D. Maybe something completely different with the butterfly theme would be the best.
And I finally figured out you can actually download those models from rx's site by clicking the craft. :brickwall
Big thanks to rx(?) and Jan! You two totally rock. And if Jan reads this, I'm anxiously waiting you to complete your FX300 Goteki45 model.
My wish came true!! Totally awesome, ah man this Pulse editor skin program thingy is going to be fantastic.
thanks so much mad ice!
and supersocks, what you talkin' bout rival over there?!:g:g the monarch craft is BAD. ASS. incredibly detailed!!!
will try to get better pictures asap! thanks again guys cheers! :guitar
