2048 Weekly speed lap challenge

Nice score guys!

I`m slowly away from Vita and returning to play active golf again. Which means, I`m not spending enough time playing 2048 but I will do my best to keep it going.

Nice indeed, will practice with your ghost tonight, awesome. So glad for near as it's a pain with the in-game replays, barely ever get to watch the replay I want. Managed to drop mine to 34.42. Think I got 4 BR in this time (last time 3, not 1 hah, totally forgot about the other 2 when I posted that), not sure where the 5th is at all though so will be good to see later.

That 4th Br is a killer, i saw it while racing old leung's ghost of 42.09 but never manage to do it.
Congrats to everyone who took part of this cool competition.
I haven't raced this new challenge yet, will post my time after lowering a bit my A+ laptime of metropark :)

edit : I am not too involved into leaderboards update problem, but my lattest score (41.84) is still not updated yet : I was online att racing leung ghost, will it update one day or not (for those who possibly got this similar problem before)

Have uploaded something to near but not sure what. Does it upload your best lap of the session or the final lap? Any way to check what you have uploaded? Thanks! :)

Asayyeah, the score will update no problem, not sure about saving the ghost for near though.

Meng, no way to check yourself but it uploads your best lap of the session. I can check for you when I load it up in a bit, will let you know if it is the 34.79 time but I am confident it will be. It uploads the best run since you entered the speedlap mode, not your best run ever - unless it was in the same session.

34.32 ( got a 34.33 for near) 3 brs : not a perfect run, I misses speed pads and hit a wall after the long right bend-br.

@ Mangaroo : the 41.84 from last challenge is not updated yet, maybe when the patch will come, records acheived while offline will be resynch with leaderboards (I hope so).

I got a last question about Near : I updated one score through near but I beat it doing another session, I upload this new score through near again : will it delete the previous one and get the best one to share with friends or will my 1st Near ghost last till the end of the 14 days no matter if i am beating it 2 days later ?

I'm surprised it hasn't updated, usually I get issues when I can't connect or their servers are down but the next time I relaunch 2048 it usually updates the records! Perhaps you've not closed wipeout since but only left it in standby?

I'm also curious about that with near, it makes sense that it would update the times..I'm sure we could check somehow but haven't slept so maybe we can test it tomorrow.

Ok, my score atm is 34.19, but 2 Barrel Rolls, hit one wall later.

I do believe, this ship can go under 34 sec barrier.

Tough one to improve on for me, getting closer though! It's the last BR, tends to mess things up. Usually pull it off by going in from the left, air braking to hit the next speed pad on the right - also pressing bottom right on the d-pad while I go over it..which allows me to do the BR - then a bit of luck to hit the next two speed pads without crashing!

Managed to drop it to 34.21 (on near) this morning that last corner for me makes a big difference especially with the BR..not certain if I hit all the last speedpads though.

I did it on a long bus journey with a jacket over my head to block out the sunlight. When I finished, my vision was totally blurred and I normally have 20-20! So I need to stop and let my eyes get back to normal! Hoping to be able to do a few more laps tomorrow! :g

Yeah this wipeout is crazy for the eyes, I think it's all that focus and not wanting to blink? I don't remember it being so bad with the PSP, might be the screen then..

I know! Haha, high speed + high resolution + several hours gaming + couple of inches away from your face = eye problems! :) Seems to be pretty much back to normal now so must have just been muscle exhaustion or something lol

I haven't been able to put it on near because wifi is not up to my room, but yes, still 4 br :)
