Ah, cool!!! I'm just excited about another racing game, and like you - I am hoping it's not a "let down" Arch!
Yeah, we need more racing games on the PSP for sure! Good ones too!!! :)

Polyphony Digital have never made a **** game, ever....
So its safe to say that Gran Turismo PSP is a good investment:)
}points at GT3 A-spec{
Not neceSSarily bad in an absolute sense, but definitely one of my non-favourites.
Nothing is 'safe to say'/'guaranteed true for everybody'.
Yeah, KIGO, but there seems to be too much "portable" in it, means no Carreer mode! Just TT (which is enough ^^) and some SR mode with a (stupid) depend-on-day car shop... I'd like a GT2 style of game. Still, if the gameplay is the same, this might make a good game. But to even buy it? Heh...
Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec was a disappointment to a few, reason being, it had much less cars and tracks than the previous Gran Turismo 2 title on the original Playstation, due to it being on the PS2, not the PSX, and it took longer to do all of the car and track renderings. GT3 was a good game, it was the first Gran Turismo to have in game weather effects, like the saturated Special Stage Route 5 City Track. Even the Prologue and the Concept GTs have been good, since you always get newer cars to try and drive in. The effort the guys do at Polyphony Digital are epic say the least. Gran Turismo PSP is going to be a great addition to the Gran Turismo games, and a first, since its on a portable system.
Buy the game Arch, i want to race you online soon too:)
That wasn't the reason it was a disappointment to me; my reason for disliking it was the physics engine, which seemed unrealistic, the cars seeming insufficiently sensitive to control inputs, not balanced the same way in their handling as real cars are, and feeling slow and unexciting to drive.
Sweet,
Sounds like a plan Arch,
Something to look forward to after sleeping through all of the Uni lectures :D. Or you could do it at Uni if the campus has wireless setup like mine:)
Hehe, you can't get kai working on uni's wireless. :P ;) You can't even access internet from psp there (I can't).
Here's some quality review of a soon-to-arrive PSP Go! http://pspupdates.qj.net/Watch-PSP-G.../49/aid/134583
I won't diss it anymore, it's already dissed itself when it was born. :lol
No camera, smaller screen, no umd, VERY UGLY, enough reasons not to get it. :lol
I thought it looked ok - but the fact that the screen is smaller is just too suckey for the price. That pause button feature is quite handy though!!
Definitely not worth the price they are asking for imo!!!
I actually *like* the idea of the smaller screen because it will mean the graphics look brighter and sharper-- as a comparison, the game boy micro bests the GBA SP unit IMHO in terms of overall game appearance.
I am pretty worried about the ergonomics of the PSP go... it doesn't look especially comfortable to hold. For me, that's a major consideration for games like Wipeout but probably much less of a factor for RPGs and adventure games.
The graphics sharper? Aren't they super shaaaarp enough on a regular PSP? (nvm, I know what you mean. ;))
My concern is that even though the graphics will be sharper, my eyes will strain more to see everything on an even smaller screen - I know the PSP Fat, Slim and 3000 screens are the same size but that really is the smallest size I'm willing to go for - that's just me personally.
And truthfully, this is speculation until I actually play with one myself. Who knows? I might actually like the thing? :)

Not so promising and worth the money...
Despite what I've hear I'll probably still get it. Mainly just to help feed my hunger for Gran Turismo 5. And also to take the DeLorean for a spin ;)
**** it, im still buying the game,
Ill give you my honest opinion of the game in one weeks time, since it is available from the Thursday :)
SensMe for PSP in 6.10 OFW
Demonstraion is here
When they do an UMD dump tool built-in in fw, it'll be a business. This stuff, is just crap, useless.
:D ^^the cranky croac, speaks again^^ :D
I got 6.10 yesterday, the senseme thing is pretty... useless imo.
