Wipeout HD Online Issues?

I just sent off another e-mail to SCEE, asking for the status on this - hope they fix this soon...
For now, I'll probably create another profile (called angryhabib ;)) and rush through campaign to unlock Auricom... meh :/

You are jinxed guys... Seems it happens only with Euro accounts?
Have you tried setting your location to US (Well now you can't try...)

It's happened to US accounts as well,and to a second ID on the same console.

The really worrying thing is that we only know of the ones reported here.
God knows how many others out there are suffering the same problem.

I've now created a secondary account [angryhabib], just for playing wipEout HD online - let's hope this one lasts a while...

I was really surprised that it took me only about half an hour to unlock Auricom - it's only about 15 events required...
Anyway, feel free to add my temporary PSN ID to your buddy list :)

EDIT: Got a mail from my contact as SCEE saying this: Just been talking with the techi guys today and hopefully will get a fix out for everyone by this week.Will give you a update towards the end of the week.
So there's hope...

I really hope they can fix it - it sucks for you guys (I would be hopping-mad) and it sucks for Wipeout HD generally. Also I don`t wanna run into an "angryhabib" because even a not angry one is already scary. :cold ;)

I think after last nights Avalon meet when KIGO1987 name appeared TWICE in about 4 to 5 online races,we might now have a better idea of how this dumb error that is locking peoples PSNID's out of the HD servers originated.

After the 5th race,the KIGO1987 clone suddenly turned into NZlion.

I think if one of the KIGO's had quit before it had fixed itself there would now be two more people unable to log in using their PSNID's.

I'm sure you were still racing Elhabib and would of seen it,I think Kanar-is-back might of recorded it.

yeah, I saw the double-Kigo, was wondering how that came about... but yeah, I also figured it's probably someone else and the display is effed up.

Anyway, sweet action this afternoon - will definitely get a lot more racing time down tomorrow all day, hope to see you guys on track!

I had no idea that anything screwy was going on with the display of my name, it all looked normal to me :)
glad I'm still OK for HD too... well, other than being so badly out of practise that I was lapped in most races.

Im very hapy to say that i can race online again :D so i suggest you all try to get online too. cause i doubt that they only fixed mine

I received an e-mail from my SCEE contact today, saying that they tried a new fix, and that I should see if it works again today - which it does!

So, could everyone who was/is having issues please test again if it works now and then report in this thread, I will then report to SCEE. Thanks guys!
