Anybody interested? I cannot play for too long as I must stand up early tomorrow, but when we start early enough today I'm sure we can race long enough :)

as soon as i get this Kai **** going, ill join you guys in some Pure, might be a few years though....
KIGO, where are the problems with you set-up?
You may take a look in the various threads helping to eliminate connection problems. :)
Important: Your computer has to be connected to the internet via LAN, not via WLAN, as the WLAN connection is used for the PSP connection.
Thanks Sausehuhn, im talking to Cranky Croac on msn about it now, i dont think Vista will not working on it, since we all know here how cunty Windows Vista, is. Im figuring out how everything works, i need that Kai USB device though.
I like Vista.
[hears crickets]
[then roars of disbelief]
[but it's true; I do] :D
**** Lance, im sure your mistaken, peel that price sticker off the box, and im sure you'll see Windows XP PRO on it;)
I dislike XP. Really really really hate the damned system. This is Vista on my little laptop. It lets me have more control over my own computer than XP would ever allow.
Win 2000 Pro is pretty good, though. [note: I've used 95, 98, 98SE, ME, NT4, 2000 Pro, XP, XP Pro, and Vista Home.]
Well since you have been around for a while now Lance, you might remember the NASA space program too, since your a Florida resident too,
Imagine those Saturn Return and Apollo crafts running on vista, i wouldnt want to be near the Launch pad when they start up, or anywhere near that state. It also might explain why man hasnt gone to the moon in so many years now, probably during every space flight simulation there computers at NASA have blue screened or something, so its way to risky to go to the moon for any human, since you cant do an automatic update from that distance, plus if you could then it'll probably make the problem worse at hand.
Shiitiest Microsoft OS are ME, 2000, Vista, bugger it, you know what, they are all complete ****ing bs.
I disagree; my experience has been pretty much completely different from yours. The only one I had problems with was 98SE, and that turned out to be because of the adware/spyware program Gain/Gator and one of its affiliates. When I finally [I was still new to online] discovered what it was and eradicated that sort of problem, then reinstalled the operating system, I had no more trouble. Of course, by that time, I no longer used Internet Explorer either. :D
[I first switched to Netscape, then to Opera, which is what I've used ever since.]
edit: oops, I think I'm straying offtopic for too many posts.
Yes Lance you did force into offtopic a bit, and got me in ranting mode again;)
Whats this USB device i must buy if i want to into Kai mode, ive never did Pure online before, it would be an interesting experience. Or as Arch has informed me, a cunty experience at times:)
A Wifi Max if I'm not mistaken..
I could be wrong however, I forked cash for an actual wireless card with promiscuous mode. :pc
I had connection problems to KAI, either. It worked in the past with no problems. Internet via LAN cable to MacBook, MacBook via WLAN connected to the PSP.
But for some reason KAI cannot find the PSP. And before anyone asks: Yes, the WLAN cards used in MacBooks and – if I'm not mistaken – any other more or less current Mac works with KAI like a charm normally.
I have ab-so-lut-e-ly no clue why it isn't working. I was using KAID Commander with Amaryllis in the past, but read it isn't up to date anymore. So I downloaded the browser-interface based KAI version, but no success, either :(
Anybody using a Mac as well for conneting to KAI?
Yes that's the very beast HOWEVER buy that and ONLY that particular model the black PSP one, not the white one or the DS one they won't work.
Ill try this in the near future, as of now, my net a home completly doesnt work now, and as of this moment i am parked outside of McDonalds, using there free :eekwireless to talk on msn and post here. There net speed here is quicker that at home.
I got to try this other thing with the PSP before though.
Thanks to q_dmc for the races!! :)
@ Sausehuhn - have you made sure that the network card in your computer allows Promiscuous Mode? To see if it does, check out the quick guide posted at the Team Xlink forums here. It all starts with Promiscuous Mode. Without it, you will have zero possibility of running Xlink Kai.
@ KIGO - another alternative to the Wifi Max is the Mayflash Wifi Link which is what I use. The Wifi Max ended up in the bin, as it was not friendly with my system AT ALL!
Here are some handy threads from the Team Xlink forums that may help you setting up your PC and PSP to play Xlink Kai:

I hope these can help you. Dont be shy to register and ask questions at the forums if you couldnt find the answers. People there are super helpful.
I recently got XLink Kai working, anyone fancy a game?
..If I only had the hardware, I've had to deal with a lot of failure as of late - I can try to get it to work under linux but thats always an adventure..:paperbag
I really wanna try some pure multi-player but this x-link stuff is shear nonsense to me. :brickwall
