I'm fairly sure that the shield calculations go into the decimals (That's why sometimes you can end up with 0 energy on the HUD and still be alive, and scrape a wall and still be alive after o.O)
So the correct scientific way would be to say:
Barrel rolls take 15.00 units of energy (Because I think it goes into two decimal places, but it might be just one I can't remember.)

The smallest damage I've noticed is probably 0.5. I'm sure the maximum you can ever scrape a wall is twice before losing 1hp... I don't think I've ever managed three scrapes before dropping by 1.
I've seen 2 scrapes = 1hp many times in my uploaded videos, but never any more... or perhaps they're just that much rarer?
All I know is an accidental barrel roll at zone 90 is not ideal... Lol

I've only ever seen that for people that own the Blu Ray version. It could be something else in addition, but that's definitely one case.
yes the DISC version of the game (which i have) says that on the status.
even if you have fury with your PSN version it will only say wipeout HD.
Anyone here used Turbo at the small dip on Modesto Heights Reverse only to hit that bulge(the wall on the Mag-Strip,which leads me to another question) and get another opportunity to Barrel Roll?
And the Mag-Strip only affects the track itself and not the wall?
