in fact, the best WOHD weapon is the nose of your ship, actually, you can make more than 30 damage by simply run through another ship, and it hurts as hell!
SL has to fix that, because with latency, the ships positions are inacurate, and that's a real problem.
nobody runs directly to the walls, so nobody has to run into the side of your ship when you turn... (and i speak about good players, i dont think that Connavar, Asayyeah or Boo4ever to quote only them, run into other ships)
Heh, I won that race with my second best time ever. I don't aim for other players when firing a turbo, but that particular time I was in a pile of 4-5 other craft, so a soon as I pointed in the right direction I fired the turbo. My apologies for the unintended damage to you.
If it makes you feel any better, I got dog-piled in the following races and had to stop after Ubermall. I was too angry to continue. I earned the
Hubris Badge
Feel like a WOHD God for winning a 8 player race full with WOZoners, in a half-decent time, and get severely punished the 3 following races.

and i did not accused you to aim at me with your turbo, as i said, ship positions are inacurate...
the worste case is on Ubermall, when the two parts join before the jump, everyone is running into everyone, and you cant make a barrel roll after.

I did it on Ubermall, where the track split, i launched a missile right in the middle, it bounced back, and hit the ship who followed me.

You've ****ed over your opposition quite well with heaps of mines and bombs. Youve absorb non of these weapons, all of them have been let loose on the track.
Following your suggestion Kigo i propose :
Snitzel (related to the last ECW 2009 ) : eat as much mines & bombs possible and you blow your bowel onto the track :blarg

Okay, if something special DID happen when you hit level 50 - I want a refund - because nothing happened when I got 1.4 million loyalty points, and IMO, that requires a LOT more work to achieve.
P.S. I'm going to heading for 2.8 million loyalty points - as I've since deleted and reinstalled my game.
My backup that I made before I deleted it from the PS was on my PC - and it's hard drive died 2 weeks ago. :paperbag
All I have to say - ProblemSover be warned - I don't care if you're a human-robot hybrid with super-genius mathematical abilities. The fastest way to loyalty up is via Zone - so I've got you in my sight(s). :pirate

I dunno if it's already been discussed in this thread but I have noticed there are
some kind of priorities in the game on which badge it gives after the race.
Does anyone have any idea on how many boost starts does it require to get the
Boost Start badge?
And also, is there batter boost start than the floor-it-when-it says-go? Because
it isn't that hard so I would imagine everyone gets a boost start in the beginning
unless they're picking their nose during the countdown.
I got 31 of the badges. The ones I don't have are the mentioned Boost Starter
and the Low Roll Winner.
well boost starter is simply "get the most boost starts in a tournament", so in a five race tournament. i.e if you get five boost starts, and everyone else gets 4 or less you get the badge. the only one im missing now after finally getting mine sweeper is unbeatable. thats one tough mofo badge
I got lucky and received the Boost Starter badge very early on...just wanted to make you jealous. :P
I would be supa jealous if the game would reward the collection of all badges :D .
The boost starting seems pretty random stuff and anyway it seems like the
Speed Pad Hunter is much higher on the priority list since that one is the most
common. At least it is on my list with over 233 of 'em.

So, I was racing Amorbis on Phantom in a room with a bunch of random folks on Moa Therma...finished second to Amorbis by one second...the podium screen comes up and I look to see what badge I got...PRISTINE! I can't express how shocked I was. Wasn't trying for it at all and had zero clue that I didn't absorb a single weapon, get shot, or bump a wall or something...and on Phantom no less! I was convinced I'd have to drop to Venom amongst some newbies and just lag behind the whole race to have a chance to get it. This way was much more fun and satisfying though. :) All I have to snag to complete my collection is Unbeatable...gonna be a tough one!
I suppose it's who your racing against on the ease of getting unbeatable,I'm on about 10 of those the same with turbo starter.
Not having people quit on a tournament when your racing well helps.
I suppose you could get it easier if you picked your quarry,find a group of racers that you know you could beat fairly easily and purposely not win by a huge margin so their interest in continuing in the tournament remains.

As for the "Relied on Automation" badge,I think that can be a BS award as I've received it when I know I haven't even picked up a Auto pilot,let alone used one during the race.
Just on a 12 racer must of won about 8 but still no unbeatable badge, instead fastest top speed really confused by this, congrats loud for pristine badge afraid i cheated slightly for that one, venom race:paperbag
You got to do that trophy in a tournament XBARNSTERX and win all the racers too.
To get Unbeatable I think you have to win the first 5 races in a tourney. I may be wrong though.
The only 2 I need to get are Plasmafier - have got lots of people with them before and got that stupid Destroyer one instead and Boost starter. Not really arsed about boost starter as there is no skill whatsoever to get this one as everyone can do a boost start.
For Pristine I went down to Venom and just pottered about the track. If you do lose energy you can get it back with a leech beam and still get the trophy so in theory you can still do BRs and get it but I'm not sure I'd recommend this !
First 5 in a row,you can't win 3, lose one and win the next 2 put it that way.
Although the way the badge describes what's needed doesn't specify this exactly.
Hmm...I thought to get Unbeatable you had to win all the races in a minumum 5-race tourney. In other words, if you compete in a 5-race tourney and win all 5 races, you'll get it, but if you were in, say, an 8-race tourney, you'd have to win all 8 races to get it. That was just my interpretation though...I don't have the trophy yet, so I don't know for sure. Has anyone here received the trophy without winning every race in a tourney of more than 5 races???

I have two or three of that badge - and the rooms were more than 5 races, and I won every race of those tournaments.
I had a couple of close calls, where I won 5 consecutive times, but it was an 8 race room - and I didn't get the badge then. Just got another (@*#ing speed pad hunter.
Ahh ok you have to win all races to acheive this badge , but has to be 5 or more , thought only 5 where required , 8 for 8 , 12 for 12 ..... thanks guys.

Yah, I had read the desciption of Unbeatable in the first post already and thought it was pretty clear, which is why I thought what I thought, but when it was proposed that maybe it worked differently than it appeared, I wanted clarification, to be sure. Just got the Low Roll Winner badge yesterday. Now I only need the Boost Starter and I have them all. I bet nobody cares but I decided to tell it anyway:) .
Im missing like at least 12+ badges.

Last night I did 6 laps of Moa Therma Phantom class, weapons off, without hitting the sides and got Pristine. Havent felt that good since I did all the elite races. Just had to tell someone.
