not really a fan of bsb, which is why i dont do hd fury SL. but if they did patch it then they need to reset sl boards
No1 would play speed lap anymore without it, cause you would have to use 2 laps for 1 fast lap (no invalidation of laps = no additional turbo!). If you remove it, then remove turbo completely from speed lap, making it like 2048 speed lap. the game wouldn't be the same anymore (which it isn't anyway btw)Quote:

At the beginning of HD, there was no tempo to reset lap, and 2s delai still allows to do things a little special,
You can wait in front of the line , cancel your lap, and leave for a sl with the starting boost.

BSB will always be a part of Wipeout HD/Fury in my opinion.

I've been playing with "alternative" (by alternative i mean other than speed type) ships, and eventually found out that on A+ Rockway Stadium agility ships are even kind of competitive.

Far from perfect because of my skills and fact that I was doing this at 2am but still managed to get rank 2, beaten only by Racingfan (with not a big gap, considering the skill differences between two of us)
Other-than-speed-type ships are so much fun, so bad speed ones are dominating so much... Hegemony of Ag-Sys speed on A+ is also somewhat not ok, you're just forced to use it, if you want good scores. Kills the diversity and fun.

Im afraid the only thing we'll get with the next patch is the 'Remix' of the song contest. No real DLC at all :(
I disabled the ingame soundtrack after the first few races, cause it's really not even good at all. Ever since then im listening to my own tracklist, as i do with all games.
And ingame sound FX was disabled shortly after disabling the soundtrack, cause it's annoying as hell.
If you disabling monetarism on YouTube you can use practically every track you want without getting into trouble.
'Share Factory' has a feature where you can load your beloved music from usb. Just get all your music into the folder 'sharefactory/music' and you're golden ;)
It's even possible to cut the music the exact same way, as it's done with the video file. A real VJ software :D

Currently No.11 on the leaderboard, yes its not a true world record but its the only ship in the top 20's that isn't the ag-sys speed. That in itself is impressive to me, very chuffed with the run itself as well.
