Ok I'm starting to get the hang of that 5th BR but pulling it in the same lap as the one on to the bridge is proving difficult!
Managed it one lap and then missed the BR off the overpass, which you would think is almost impossible!
Finally strung it all together and got a 20.65 :D Pictures to come later.
It did come at a cost though, it logged it as PLAYER record instead of my PSN id and now my WipEout HD seems to have become corrupted. Just won't load :mad:

OOh, new working leaderboards mean I can see Mietepets and Dark Phantom's times :) But not Yeldar's presumably because his Icarus time is higher.

I reckon I could have that dirty Icarus' time though :lol

I've found that the boostBR and where you land actually makes a huge difference - can make/break your lap :)
Yeah, noticed that with my 20.96 ghost, was always comming ahead after that boost BR
Damn, thought I was actually going to beat you this week Mietepiet. Guess I was kidding myself! I really need to get to know Mr BR5...
Ok, I think it would take me about 5000 more laps to better this time. I am so inconsistent.
20.65 5BR 13 Speed Pads
Week 4's Speed Lap Challenge has come to an end, and Week 5 is now in progress. Reclaiming his throne as the Speed Lap Champion this week is yeldar2097 :)

Seeing as the leaderboards are now up and working, if your highest personal time is using the appropriate ship, you may simply state "my time is xx.xx, see leaderboard for result
Anyone had a chance to have a go at this yet?
So far I've got 26.64 8pads, 2 BR.
It is my fastest time so should be on the leaderboard, but it doesn't seem to have updated yet. I think I can scratch a little bit off the time, but not much!
I've had a quick go at it, will post time a bit later on :)
Just had a session where I was raging pretty hard towards the end of - I just couldn't, for whatever reason, get that barrel roll on the final corner... for like 60/99 laps. Don't know what's wrong with me.

I think I could break 26 seconds if I could actually nail those stupid BR's. It's my pb so it should show on the leaderboards, if they update... still waiting for my #7 ranked time to show up for tdr< venom.
Only a 27.12 with 1 BR and 7SP's from me at the moment. Hopefully leaderboard will update
I have got it down to 25. something I can't remember exactly but it should be on the leaderboard.
Not at home this weekend so can't improve my time or check what it actually was! 8 pads and fury ship. 2 Barrel rolls.
