That Delta tournament was good stuff - loved the backflip and second place caused by looking behind you. :D
...to say hello to the great wipers i meet on kai. (my name is dag)
even if i need more practise, it was very fun and i hope we gonna play again.
Hello again sleh, welcome to the forum :)
could have been worst ! Max was just behind me less than a second... i really like the rear view of Pure : tricky to use but that may help you in kai to avoid plasma too ( always on that koltiwa race : been lucky with that one tho :nod )Quote:

I have triangle mapped as thrust, circle mapped as fire, square for look behind, and x as absorb, so that I can easily look behind me without taking my finger off the thrust button.
I've always prefered triangle as my accelerate button - it even points the way you want to go! ;)
ive got the original configuration by default, but i never let my thumb take off from thrust X button , i get the rear view by my forefinger : it's a kind of fingers' gymnastics but Neggie gave me that habbit :D
I need to develop a way of carrying out any action without releasing thrust. I`m a triangle thrust man, like Rob, and think this gives the PSP great balance in your hands so don`t want to change, but I have rear view on x so that I can absorb and fire without releasing. It`s possible to roll your thumb onto x, also without releasing triangle, but sometimes you accidentally hit absorb or fire. I really have to develop a good rear view system, with plasma sharpshooters like ADS and ASA around, and also for more offensive moves when being followed. :bomb :pirate
It true that you have to pick your moment when to absorb, but I tend to save it for a really tight corner when I'll get a smoother line by briefly releasing thrust anyway.
It'd be interesting to see a replay / in game footage of Arnaud's finger gymnastics during a game. :D
When Sleh will come back on thursday or rather Friday night i can ask him to film me while racing a track, héhé that could be funny
Film you???? mind wear sunglasses for your posture ;)
stevie:nod
of course and with my nicest disco flashy sunglasses from the 70's ;)
Me too except I flipped the [] and O jobs to accurately reflect the WO3 use/drop controls :DQuote:

I have been downloading descenion tour and session 11 a few times without succes.
Delta did work though and really great to see. Hopefully the others will work soon.
i tested the DL links tonight, seems working now ;)
Yup it's working now, but only with acdsee. Your other movies are working with windows media player. Strange but luckely i found it working anyhow. Thanks great moments there!
Thanks Matthijs , more to come later :banzai
Awesome vids. Of the ones I've seen so far, my favourite has to be the Classic 2 tour between you and your three clones/evil twins (not to mention you were all piloting Zone). Really like to see more oddities like that. ;)
1 year later, here i am coming back !
With the new slim psp linked through tv by component cable, i ve recorded as a test a descension tournament on kai last night ( actually 9 tracks on 12 due to full hdd cam storage :( ) simply with my cam near the video.
Music, our voices ( Dag & me) have been recorded so it's always time for a french lesson :)
There' s a bit of lag when playing like this but that is bearable and quality viewing is not so bad at all
As usual you can stream or dl it ( watch out 260 Mo :O ) through filefront
or youtube for Part1
Part2
Part3
Enjoy :guitar
