Never heard of them. But around here we have "Chow Mein" which is owned by Ramen, which is owned by...anyway, theyre the bomb-diggity and only 1 dollar each (about 50 pents +/-).
@OBH-- more like he needs a girlfriend...

Maybe he has so much because his girlfriend's in it? :lol
I don't like either, "noodle king" is my fave brand :g
I don't suppose anyone knows how I can check what BIOS my laptop is running if it won't boot (POST failure --> blank screen)?
Turn your laptop on, and keep the F2 key held down - I think!
yeldar2097 look at the label on BIOS chip (warranty void). You can also try to reset CMOS memory and return BIOS to factory settings (Need to disassemble laptop too)
2 Ace: No self-test on power on = no everything even keyboard
Oh, ok :)
Yeldy - Hope you sort it now!
Dammit this is really annoying, all my lovely music and other crap is stranded behind enemy lines :bomb
I want to get the stuff off my laptop...Will sticking the HDDs into another computer still work if my HDDs are in RAID 0 (stripe?) and I can only do one at a time?
I still have warranty/insurance so I might hold off going inside the laptop for now...
RANDOM QUESTION:
If you purchase a download game off the PSN store, how many times are you allowed to download it off the PSN store to your PSP or PS3? 3, 4 or 5 times??
5
characters are nice
Gareth if i resume quickly the situation you got a laptop with 2 hdd's in raid 0 ( to get better speed access for datas), while trying to boot you got no sound, POST failure and black screen, is it?
If your laptop is under warranty and you send it back i am pretty sure all your datas will be deleted, best would be to take off the 2 Hdds : there's a trap at the back of your pc you can open it ( ala ps3 without avoiding your warranty) and put them together in a station : you could be able to access to your datas easily.
Can you hear the sound of the HDDs spinning? the CPU fan as well ( i know that sounds hard for a laptop and not opening it to know if things are ok or not).
My little opinion on this it deals with the power supply connector from your motherboard, it's mostly the weakest part of laptops in general.
Seems also that few motherboards doesn't really support perfectly Raid systems ( eventhough they mention they can easily do it) that causes system being unstable
You can download purchased stuff infinite times to your activated system once you bought it.
All data will be voided after RAID 0 initialization on new system. Not every RAID controller allows to repair RAID array created with other controllerQuote:

damn you're right mate :(
Gareth just one thing told by my bro-in-law : unplug the batteries for few minutes and replug them .... who never knows....
Oh, they were. :donut
Anyway, I've just finished my coursework. Go me. :beer
I wana do'nut.
Thanks for the info Asa/NightArh.
@Asa: I'm pretty sure the problem is my GFX card in some way: I get 3 beeps (long - short - short) and a blank screen. According to my research this means GFX issues...
I will try your battery suggestion and hope for the best :)
I know I can get it repaired but I have 150Gb of music on there and I don't want to lose it, my music collection is my life :(
Cola-flavoured whaaaaaat?? How the bloody hell? Sounds funky
Cola - jelly doughnuts.
Yes you have a problem with your graphic card Yeldar. I burned my graphic card few days ago too :P Writing message from ps3 system eehhh You can believe me or not but I have tons of hardware at work that failured last days. I dont know how to explain this :) maybe carma hehe
I spoke to some guy about using r-studio and putting the HDDs into the back of a desktop. Whaddya reckon? should I try it?
