nice work i can see .30 more for me at best lol, I did a 50 lapper before just to improve by only 0.08 lol. Not done it perfect yet, theres allways somewhere my ghost catches me up
, ive had perfect laps like,
Just had a quick run, 29.03, 3 BR's, 7 sp's with the Fury Harimau. Will post a better time when I get a chance; for some reason I was completely unable to get the BR that I usually find easiest to pull off with any consistency.
I've managed 4 BR's in the outdoor section... just not in the one lap :P Would be good if I could pull them off in one effort but it's a pretty tough ask. I can only do 2 with a little effort, usually.
Other than that section where you need to pull off a lot of hard BR's, the last corner is where I find it's possible to lose a lot of time.

lol, I had pretty much just gotten up and did 67 laps, and since I'm not happy with the time I'm just saying I'll try to do a bit better later :P
67 is probably pretty long for a quick try as well, but usually a decent effort for me is at least a full 99 lap set

A quick try = 20 laps or less IMO. I tried for about 10-15mins after some INSANE races with elobot and erid7m so I was in the zone -they force you to concentrate VERY hard :P
@KGB: Where are you BR/SS'ing?
On my fastest lap I hit the first, second, and forth lip, didn't need to SS to get BRs off any of them, and still really slow.
If you get time can you make a vid please big G, I'm missing some basic skills here, in life as well as HD. :D

28.58 (3rd overall) was the best i could do.
5brs, though not convinced im using my boost as well as it could be (though had great fun trying to ping myself over the little walls :g)
well i got all 4 then hit tunnel arch, was on a blinder too, i managed all 4 lips a few times in practice now, but only managed to do in an attempt once, hopefully ill manage it, but i just done a 100 lap session with no improvement from last night,

I'm happy with that, No7 in the tables, had a bad start with the lap, but then 3 good brs down the hill got me past the ghost, so now I'm thinking I could get low 28 secs.

Just my luck! This week's challenge is (was) my only #1 speed lap record. It was nice while it lasted (9 days or so...:P).
Had another go in the Harimau+ this time...
Result: 28.20 - 5BR (3 lip BRs, 2 hill BRs) - 9SP
At this point I could improve my time by a millisecond or so but these circus BRs are really trying my patience!

after 99 laps i got a 28.91 10th but i dont remember how many br/sp i got :P did fined a little shortcut but it dosnt make a diffrence (in fact i think its slower) at such slow speeds so i'll have to give it a go on phantom
Out of interest what's everyone doing with the boost. I'm waiting to the very top of the first brow then using it with pitch right up to get me further up the hill. Is it quicker to keep low but land lower down the slope.Quote:

@ KGB: I use the turbo earlier, I think you get too much air time at the tip of the big hill which slows you down too much if you leave it late.
kjb i have been doing that how you describe, but i think a bit earlier is better , i think u get more height, i've been trying to land on righthand side lip then a right ss on landing, seem to catch my ghost a bit like that, but if im ahead im just trying to land on track,

Im roughly 8 tenths slower than yeldar despite only 5 brs, a big wobble on the bridge, and popping much further into the air on the final bridge br than id have liked. Whichever method of boosting you use, as long as your not "hanging" in the air i imagine it wont make as much of a difference as your racing lines over the bridge.
You cant br on the 1st corner correct? I didnt even bother trying, i cant stand speed lap on tracks with a ridulous first corner youd just NEVER boost before.
Using the turbo later as you are almost over the hump seems the fastest to me.
Reason being that after the second BR ,if you just steer instead of using the air brakes/side shift ,you land in a lot better position and you should just be able to steer only around the last 3 bends.
I just can't nail more than 1 BR off the ramps,hence my relatively modest times.
PS: you might notice a few NON zone members HARIMAU craft up in the leaderboards,I've been messaging people individually and setting them the challenge.
I'll see how many others I can get by weeks end.

Yes this week's challenge is still a go and tomorrow is a new one. If you want an updated leaderboard to compare times go to the ranking site.
If you can't sync your time to the server just a snap a pic of your time and post it here.
Edit: I just did 28.07 (5 BRs and 9 SPs) after a "quick run" (20 laps). Improved my 28.20 ghost with better lines after the BR landing past the hill however the last of my three "lip" BRs is worse! I could better this but probably not 0.4s to get #1 ;)

Try this in interior view lol, It is well hectic i managed 2 lips and almost felt sick xD (just did a lap 30.79 inside view) not bad for 1st attempt, we should have a bogus challenge lol,
1st corners not that bad just brake left for a teeny bit then righthand over the righthand side rails, i get it 2 in 3, the other time usaully overcut it and get respawned.
i still have 40 minutes if midnight is the cutoff :P
edit: now if I would actually turn my ps3 on, I could use soem of that time.
I wish I had noticed this thread earlier in the week, I guess I'll have to wait for the new course/speed/team for this coming week
