avalon : April Rush! -- April 3/4/5

Thanks kgb. I think that's the first shortcut I've gotten the hang of so far. All the others I suck at, especially if they involved a boost. I often end up in the wall. I actually only got the hang of this one since the last Avalon. I watched one of kanar's videos and saw that he sideshifts it. Once I started doing that it was much simpler. So I owe him for that one, as well as the bit on anulpha where you drop off the bridge and barrel roll. On that one I actually did sideshift when I shouldn't have. Goes to show how subtle differences have a big effect on lap times.

You have to hit the pad on the right side and to nose up for that shortcut, mate ! if you don't... ;)

Belated thx to everyone about last WE Avalon the final Rush ! I had a rare time racing alot with my fellow WZ/WA zoners, it was a fantastic 'furiosa' to survive into those races :cold

I'd like to know if they count too, because I beat all these records by at least 5 whole seconds per lap. I even had video evidence but then my camera magically updated itself and I had to destroy the SD card just to turn it on. Funny how these things work out :p Records for me please :D

I wouldn't have thought they should count. Otherwise, anyone could be on form and go online and bust out an awesome race. Well I say anyone, but I mean about 4 guys in reality. But still, I'd hope that Avalon records can only be set during Avalon weekends. It adds to the excitement :+

Nice youtube races by the way Saturn! I have left a few messages on some. Good that some of my wins have been recorded for posterity.

I'll show them to my grandchildren someday. Just after I've thrashed them on Wipeout14. :lol

Thanks Saturn. But you know, I'm feeling more & more like old snake, tired. Just after one year of intense wipeout way of life lol. Living a double life is exhausting. We'll talk about the future of this league soon. One event per month with multiple hosts recording these times all over the world is something possible, & maybe better than just one fool in front of his ps3 during 3 days. I had my Raiden mate Saturn last time, I'm sure we can coordinate something even bigger if we all agree for a same date/week-end.
