avalon : For My People (dec 25/26/27)

Well I hosted a few AVALON races today.
Kaori & Tarquinfarqar were the only real wipeoutzone representatives of any consequence that were online,sorry one other, Constrictor4U held his own and beat quite a few to gain a 1st place on more than one occasion.

I just thought I'd better warn you.
The person that was so previously known as Sinus1 is racing under another name,in Phantom league none the less.
He has become rather good at the faster pace,and all the more ironically would have far more "online" experience than the majority of zone pilots if added together.
Be wary,you might get your butt kicked.:)

I've basically been playing HD since I woke up... I started-off pretty well but then began falling back further and further so I decided to take a break... plus I haven't accomplished anything today yet lol :P

First few multiplayer races in a long time has been awesome. (though yeldar clearly has more free time than god to practice :beer). Consistantly 2nd after so long without firing a single weapon is a good start :)

Looking forward to wasting my evening away with mince pies, wine, and avalon!

Just experienced one of those Avalon miracles: Three ships on the mag strip on Metropia reverse, they both went under me and I got lifted off the Mag-strip and my Harimau landed on its back on the section just before the mag. weird-ass.

Best bit was sebenco - Elois in 1st, me 2nd, you 3rd --- i boost over the chicance to take the lead, but die crashing into the final corner!!

amazing yeldar crashed into the same spot and dies instantly after i did! Except his corpse flies over the line where mine stutters to a halt an inch from the line :)

WHA? WOW - wish I coulda seen that. I aspire to DNF in just like that, some day... :D:D:D

I remember Amorbis beating me on cp rev one time by 0.01 when we both died on the final straight by crashing into each other :)

I'll be hosting 20 lap no-guns races tonight, all 12 forward (rev tomorrow) - starting soon!

EDIT: Sorry I couldn't continue the 20lap races later on - we'll catch up tomorrow :)

wow was good to read all these feedbacks guys, seems like it was a great day one! I spent the day & night at bed myself, because of a nice food poisoning... oyster FTW lol. I feel better this morning, so I'll probably join you guys today. Again, big thx to everyone for your support in that event.
