WipEout HD Videos

I'm no expert on this, but I know that on Metropia Reverse, if you boost and try to fly over the structure towards the end of the lap, rather than under it, then you have to stay further right than you might expect. You can stray to the left and, even though it looks like you're heading straight for the track, you will respawn. It's probably the same on Moa Therma. I think you just need to know where the respawn wall is and you'll be good to go. Pirahpac or someone else will probably be able to direct you to the right video.

follow the track superpj, that's all i can say. imagine you are on the track and try to stay in the middle of it :D

You are cutting it a bit too much on a left hand side of the track. Also it can respawn you when you fly too long (even if you fly over the track).

I don't think this shortcut will give you a better SL time. Maybe time trial? You have a 1:54:96 target set by Pirhabot so go on, master it. :+

@ superpj : i dont think ur trick is more fast in sl and tt, cuz u fly to high and do only 1 br in one lap.where u boost , u can br fast and re br again sometimes and keep the boost for shorcut " the rock &green plant" ..this shorcut is very hard :pirate ( i think ) but very useful :+

i confirm, it's not the right way to do a good chrono , i known it cos i made my tt like that .
Superpj u, fly a litlle too high and ure too on left side before landing.
but th right way is to do the shortcut classic and a litlle shortcut +br where u use ur boost ....

it is faster for sl if you use BSB i think...

for tt pirah's shortcut is best because you can get 2-3 BR per lap

How do you record those 1:1 vids? I know a HDMI-grabber card for PC,
which can record 720p@60Hz, but it doesn't decode the HDCP signal.

Your 'fixed' tapping sequence of L1/R1 is quite good if you can match
your turning points, but once your are off a bit you get out of sync and
touch the wall the in the process, killing your perfect zone. If you get
that right then you can make 10+ more pefect zones, at least. But
anyways, we have enough time to improve, we are just about a month
into Fury / Syncopia.

I got the #2 spot with a 1.47.06 yesterday (0.04 off barnsters record :(). If he shaves 2-4 seconds off it that is madness :o. I was stretched to get 1.47.06 and i couldnt imagine the record being 2 or 3 seconds faster. I think i could shave near a second off with a perfect run and by the looks of barnsters vid 2 seconds does look possible. wow :o.

Just thought i'd mention that Talon's Junction flash time trial is now mine :). With a time of 2.02.19 :). I was unlucky on the last lap as i made a mistake which knocked at least 0.02 off my time which would have got me into the 2.01.XX zone... and i'm sure a 2.00.XX or even a 1.59.XX is possible eventually. Maybe a challenge for you guys ;).
